KTM Noth America has updated the 1290 Super Adventure R and the 1290 Super Adventure S in the US market for 2024. As a part of the MY2024 update, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure range gets new colour options, but the mechanicals remain unchanged.
The 2024 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R gets a grey paint scheme with subtle orange highlights. On the other hand, the 2024 1290 Super Adventure S gets a white and orange colour finish with blue graphics.
As we mentioned earlier, both motorcycles remain unchanged mechanically. Thus, they use a 1,301cc, liquid-cooled, LC8 V-twin engine that produces 158bhp and a peak torque of 138Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes fitted with a PASC slipper clutch.
The 2024 KTM 1290 Super Adventure range comes loaded with a plethora of features and electronic rider aids. These include motorcycle stability control with lean-sensitive cornering ABS, offroad ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, self-cancelling turn signals, cruise control and more. The bikes also get an offroad ride mode and offroad traction control.
