Latest News about Kawasaki Ninja H2 [2018-2019]

It’s been just a year since Kawasaki launched the Ninja H2- one of the fastest production motorcycles on this planet and there is already a 2016 version. 

Kawasaki's flagship motorcycle, the track-only H2R was recently subjected to the ultimate test of speed, agility and stability. During a demonstration lap by professional racer James Hiller at the Isle of Man TT circuit, the H2R set a new world record for maximum speed at the famous road racing venue. Although given its ludicrous power and aerodynamic design, the feat doesn’t really come as a surprise.

And so, MS Dhoni has now added another jewel to his ever growing crown by gifting himself a new Kawasaki Ninja H2!

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 has been launched in India at Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Besides being the only supercharged motorcycle in the Indian market, the Ninja H2 is also the Japanese manufacturer’s fastest and most expensive motorcycle sold here.

Kawasaki is set to launch their flagship model, the H2, in India tomorrow. The most expensive litre-class production motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer sets new benchmarks on performance.

Kawasaki has announced that the Ninja H2 will be launched in India on April 3. The Ninja H2 will break cover at the Buddha International Circuit in Delhi, which should provide the ideal backdrop for the Japanese manufacturer’s fastest road-legal motorcycle. 

As per Visordown, the company has filed over 10 patents over the last three months showing the various electric motorcycle designs. These designs show the trellis frame and sports bike geometry. Kawasaki's electric bike patents were first revealed in 2012, but 10 designs in just three months, makes us believe that the company is going full throttle with its electric motorcycle plan. 

Looks like Kawasaki is in no mood to slow down after the kind of response they got for the Ninja H2 and the Ninja H2R. The Japanese manufacturer has applied for trademarking the Ninja R2 name with the US Patent and Trademark office.

The Ninja H2R has been storming motoring forums since it was unveiled at the 2014 EICMA. Priced at $50,000 (Rs 31 lakh), the H2R is a limited-edition motorcycle and can be bought only after a customer places an order. In order to make this more exclusive, Kawasaki has unveiled the drag spec H2R, called the H2 Hybrid.

We had recently reported that Kawasaki might launch the Ninja H2 motorcycle in India, around the second half of next year. Now, it seems that the Indonesian market will also get the company’s flagship motorcycle around the same time. A report from an Indonesian blog reveals that Kawasaki dealers in the country have started accepting bookings for the Ninja H2 and that the motorcycle will be priced at IDR 580 million (Rs 29.25 lakh).
