Kawasaki India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the 2021 Ninja H2R. The latest iteration of the track-only motorcycle is available at Rs 79.90 lakh as against Rs 75.80 lakh previously, a premium of Rs 4.10 lakh over its predecessor.
The 2021 Ninja H2R retains the styling of its predecessor. The 2021 model continues to use aerodynamic winglets on the fairing and on the windscreen, a rider-only saddle, a trellis frame, and a single-sided swingarm. The single-sided swingarm design allows the company to install the exhaust silencer closer to the motorcycle’s centreline. Being a track-only motorcycle, the Ninja H2R misses features such as a headlamp, rear-view mirrors, and turn indicators. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 216kg (kerb).
The 2021 Ninja H2R is available in a single paint option – Mirror Coated Matte Spark Black. Kawasaki has installed a special coat to the paint that allows minor scratches to repair themselves.
The motorcycle continues to use the supercharged, 998cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that requires a minimum octane rating of RON95. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor produces 305.7bhp (321.8bhp with RAM Air) of maximum power at 14,000rpm and 165Nm of peak torque at 12,500rpm. The transmission benefits from a slipper/assist clutch and a bidirectional quickshifter.
The feature list on the motorcycle comprises a Bosch-sourced Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that works with Kawasaki Cornering Management Function. The instrument cluster displays the bank angle and maximum bank angle achieved. The electronic rider aids include cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, launch control, and engine brake control.
The hardware on the 2021 Ninja H2R includes 43mm upside-down front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 gas-charged rear mono-shock – both fully adjustable – to perform the suspension tasks. An Ohlins electronic steering damper is also part of the package. The braking setup includes twin 330mm discs with four-piston Brembo M50 Monobloc callipers at the front and a single 250mm rotor with two-piston Brembo calliper at the back.

Unleashing the Beast: Conquering the Roads with the Kawasaki Ninja H2R"
Sanjay Nayak
The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is not just a motorcycle; it's a technological marvel, a brute force of power, and an adrenaline-inducing experience like no other. From its aggressive design to its mind-blowing performance, the H2R redefines what it means to ride on two wheels. At first glance, the H2R demands attention with its sleek, aerodynamic bodywork and distinctive green accents. Every curve and angle is purposefully crafted to maximize performance and enhance aerodynamics. It's a bike that looks fast even when it's standing still. But it's what lies beneath the surface that truly sets the H2R apart. Powered by a supercharged 998cc inline-four engine, the H2R produces an astonishing 310 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful production motorcycles ever built. The acceleration is nothing short of mind-blowing, with the bike effortlessly rocketing from 0 to 60 mph in just a few seconds. The handling of the H2R is equally impressive, thanks to its lightweight chassis and advanced suspension system. Whether carving through twisty mountain roads or blasting down the straightaways of a racetrack, the H2R feels planted and stable, inspiring confidence in the rider. Of course, with great power comes great responsibility, and the H2R is not a bike for the faint of heart. Its raw power can be intimidating, especially for inexperienced riders, and it requires a skilled hand to fully harness its capabilities. Additionally, the high price tag and limited availability mean that the H2R is out of reach for all but the most dedicated enthusiasts. In conclusion, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is a true masterpiece of engineering, combining jaw-dropping performance with cutting-edge technology and striking design. It's a bike that pushes the boundaries of what's possible, and for those lucky enough to experience it, riding the H2R is an unforgettable thrill that will leave them craving more.

Have a great experience. Riding is so comfortable and cool. Looks superior to all the superbikes. The engine is so refined and smooth. Service and maintenance is costly but if you can buy this bike so you don't worry about maintenance it is costly. Everything is good for riding. All-in-one bike

The bike is amazing. I have riding it from Mumbai to Nalasopara Daily. Very pocket-friendly. The average is also too good. BMC has a separate road to ride this bike. Any local mechanic can do service hence easy to maintain. It can carry a Tripple seat also. Due to the high engine power of the bike, we attached local trains to it.
