The CB300F Flex-Fuel version was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. The motorcycle can run on an ethanol blending of up to 85 per cent via the Honda Flex Tech system.
Besides being E85-compliant, the mechanicals remain unchanged compared to the standard version. The Honda CB300F Flex-Fuel is powered by a 293cc, oil-cooled engine that pumps out 24.13bhp at 7,500rpm and 25.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper and assist clutch.
The design is inspired by Honda's CB500F and features aggressive bodywork and sharp creases. The styling elements comprise a bikini fairing with an LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, and a sleek tail section with split-style seats.
Feature-wise, the CB300F Flex-Fuel will come equipped with full-LED lighting, traction control system, digital instrument cluster, and dual-channel ABS. It will also get Bluetooth connectivity, which should bring features such as music controls, voice navigation, and call and SMS alerts.
The suspension setup includes upside-down forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.
The standard Honda CB300F costs Rs. 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), so we expect the CB300F Flex-Fuel version to be marginally costlier than the standard model.

The buying experience for the Honda CB300 and its flex-fuel variant tends to be straightforward, with several key highlights and some nuances based on real owner feedback and mechanical details. The following sections cover rider perspectives, group performance, servicing, maintenance, pros, cons, and tips for other drivers. Buying Experience Purchasing the Honda CB300F typically involves easy access at Honda's Big Wing showrooms, though flex-fuel models may have slightly longer waits due to newer technology and limited stock. Riders comment on friendly dealership staff, transparent documentation, and competitive prices, especially when seasonal discounts are offered. Performance and Ride The CB300F Flex-Fuel impresses with its smooth performance for city commutes and weekend rides. Its 293cc engine produces 24.8 PS and 25.9 Nm of torque, making it agile and powerful but still approachable for new riders. Owners enjoy the refined throttle, precise gearbox, and flickable manoeuvrability in traffic, which makes it a hit among rider groups and urban commuters. Servicing and MaintenanceRoutine servicing is manageable, with established intervals every 6,000 km for oil changes and periodic chain calibration. BigWing authorised service centres are recommended for complex diagnostics, especially for flex-fuel variants, due to limited compatibility with some local workshops. Maintenance costs and reliability are generally positive, but occasional complaints include minor oil leaks and the need for O-ring replacements after services. Owners sometimes report issues with paint quality and sourcing spare parts if not near larger urban centres. ProsSmooth power delivery and fuel-efficient flex-fuel options (avg. 30-35 kmpl). Lightweight and easy to handle; suitable for shorter riders. Premium build, modern features (LED, ABS, digital cluster, Bluetooth connectivity). Comfortable, sporty posture and good suspension balance. Low heat generation in traffic and reliable brakes. Cons: Occasional roughness in the engine after the first service, but it improves later. Paint quality and minor mechanical niggles reported by long-term owners. Limited real-time ECU diagnostics at standard service centres, requiring BigWing branches for advanced troubleshooting. Higher price than some competitors in the 250-300cc segment. Maintenance Tips for Other DriversAlways schedule major servicing at authorised BigWing centres to ensure proper ECU diagnostics for flex-fuel. Watch for early signs of oil or gasket leaks and request warranty replacement as needed. Maintain regular chain lubrication and O-ring checks for long-term reliability. If buying used, ask for a detailed service history and check paint quality for previous wear. Stay updated on seasonal offers or discounts before purchase for the best value. In summary, the CB300F Flex-Fuel delivers solid performance, eco-friendly flexibility, and a modern riding experience, but requires attentive servicing and a keen eye on minor niggles for long-term satisfaction.

The Bike offers decent power and torque for long & city rides with comfortable posture & comfort for both rider & pillion. E85 ensure stress-free riding as a compatible ethanol blend fuel. It lacks the USB charging compared to the previous model, which was helpful for long rides with the navigation mount. Overall, a good package

Looks are very similar to Hornet 2.0 so the looks could have been much better. Very light and nimble to handle in city traffic. Fuel efficiency is very satisfactory. Highway around 40-42km/l and in city it is 32-35km/l. Power is excellent. High Power to Weight ratio helps it to have an excellent pick up. Good for long tours and city rides. Uncomfortable for pillion riders on a long trip.

I feel very happy after getting this bike. I like this bike. Mostly raiding, I love this bike. Everything is good, but there is one small problem: the bike's reading display is black and white. It would be better if it were converted to color. It would be even better if the bike had Bluetooth connectivity. It would have been even better if it had a raiding mood.

Visited a bigwing showroom in bangalore today. The salesperson informed that they don't have stock and the bikes production is currently stopped by HONDA. He told me to visit other showrooms where stock may be available. He was like This bike is not that in demand. Looks like HONDA is not very keen on advertising this bike.
