Top five highest-selling two-wheelers in February 2023: Hero Splendor, Honda Activa and more

Hero MotoCorp continued to dominate two-wheeler sales in India, with its Splendor range leading the charts in February 2023 as well. The company sold 2,88,605 units of the Splendor brand in India in the last month. Meanwhile, the Honda Activa secured the second spot on the list with a total of 1,74,503 unit sales in February 2023. Bajaj Auto took the third position on the highest-selling two-wheeler list, with its Pulsar brand securing 80,106 unit sales during the month.

The Hero Splendor witnessed significant growth in the year-on-year numbers, rising from 1,93,731 units in February 2022 to 2,88,605 units in February 2023. The Honda Activa and Bajaj Pulsar, too, registered a growth on yearly basis for the same period. Meanwhile, the Hero HF Deluxe, which retained the fourth spot, saw a decline in the year-on-year numbers, with the sales falling from 75,927 units in February 2022 to 56,290 units in February 2023. Notably, Honda CB Shine slid from the third spot in February 2022 to the seventh position in February this year.

In the latest updates, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the launch of the new Shine 100 in our market to rival the Hero Splendor. This new product from the Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer uses a 100cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that delivers 7.61bhp and 8.05Nm. The new Honda Shine 100 has been priced at Rs. 64,900 (ex-showroom), and its bookings have opened across India. The deliveries are expected to begin in the next two months.
