The 2020 Hero HF Deluxe is the manufacturer’s first entry-level, BS6-compliant motorcycle. The motorcycle’s 100cc engine now gets a fuel-injection system and ‘XSens Technology’ which adjusts the air-fuel mixture on a real time basis through the help of 10 sensors. The engine now produces 7.9bhp of power and 8.05Nm of torque.
Hero has also updated the feature list by offering an idle start-stop system on the higher-spec variant. Termed as the ‘i3S’ system, it helps in saving fuel during brief stops. In terms of styling, the BS6 model receives new graphics as well as new paint schemes - Techno Blue and Heavy Grey with Green.
Apart from these changes, the 2020 HF Deluxe remains the same. It rides on telescopic forks up front and dual springs at the rear. On the other hand, braking duties are done by drum brakes at both ends with Hero’s ‘Integrated Braking System’. The HF Deluxe BS6 is available in four variants – kick-start with spoke wheels, kick-start with alloy wheels, self-start with alloy wheels and self-start with i3S technology. Hero added a fifth variant in April 2021 that is the cheapest of them all. A majority of its hardware and body panels are finished in black and the grab rail is skinnier than the variants.
The Hero HF Deluxe continues to rival the Bajaj CT100, TVS Sport and Honda CD 110 Dream in the country.

Average bike with good build-up quality. The parts are excellent but if you want to purchase for mileage then I am not recommending this bike go for another bike of the same segment.I purchased it for my daily commute but feel very disappointed with the mileage company said 70 kms. Per liter But it gives only 55 kms per liter.

1. Buying Experience:The buying experience for the HERO HF Deluxe may vary depending on the dealer you choose. Generally, it is a budget-friendly scooter, so the process should be straightforward. However, ensure you research the dealer's reputation for after-sales service and spare parts availability.2. Riding Experience:The HERO HF Deluxe offers a comfortable riding experience, especially for short to medium distances. Its suspension system is basic but adequate for city roads. The seating position is upright, making it easy on the back, and the handlebars are easy to grip. The scooter's weight distribution is well-balanced, making it manageable for riders of all skill levels.3. Details about Looks, Performance, etc.:The HF Deluxe has a simple, classic scooter design with a step-through frame, making it easy to mount and dismount. The build quality is decent for its price range, and it comes in various color options. The performance is powered by a 110cc air-cooled engine, offering a top speed of around 55 km/h (35 mph). The fuel efficiency is impressive, with an estimated 70-80 km per liter (35-40 miles per gallon).4. Servicing and Maintenance:Being a simple and straightforward scooter, the HF Deluxe's servicing and maintenance requirements are relatively easy. Regular checks on the engine oil, chain tension, tire pressure, and brake pads are essential. It is advisable to use genuine spare parts for better performance and longevity. The service intervals are typically every 5,000 km (3,000 miles) or once a year, depending on usage.5. Pros and Cons:Pros:- Affordable pricing- Good fuel efficiency- Comfortable riding experience- Simple and easy-to-maintain design- Decent build qualityCons:- Basic suspension system- Limited features (no electric start, front disc brake, etc.)- Limited performance compared to higher-end scooters- After-sales service may vary depending on the dealer- Noisy operation at higher speeds

Tips for other riders
Regular cleaning: Wash your scooter after every ride, especially if it has been exposed to dust, dirt, or mud. Use a soft cloth and mild detergent to clean the body and wheels. Check tire pressure: Ensure the tires are properly inflated according to the manufacturer's recommended pressure. This will improve fuel efficiency and handling. Oil and filter change: Change the engine oil and filter at regular intervals as specified in the user manual. Use the recommended oil type and grade for optimal performance. Chain maintenance: If your scooter has a chain drive, lubricate it regularly to prevent rust and wear. Clean the chain after every ride and apply a suitable chain lubricant. Brake system: Inspect the brake pads and brake shoes for wear and tear. Replace them if needed. Keep the brake system clean and free from dirt or debris. Battery maintenance: Ensure the battery is always charged, and the terminals are clean and free from corrosion. If you notice any issues with the battery, consult a professional for assistance. Check lights and electrical components: Inspect the headlight, tail light, and indicators regularly. Replace any faulty bulbs and ensure all wiring is secure and free from damage.

the HF Deluxe is a reliable and practical commuter bike. It's perfect for daily rides within the city, offering good mileage, comfortable handling, and affordability. While it may not excel on highways or boast the latest features, it makes up for it with its efficiency and ease of maintenance. If you're in the market for a budget-friendly commuter, the HF Deluxe is worth considering.
