Reviews of Vespa VXL 125

Got this beautiful piece of the bike with lots of excitement. But gradually got to know the horrors hidden behind this bike. Long trips cannot be gone with this, because any problem with the vespa will not be handled by normal mechanics, the engine is located very close to the ground due to which less ground clearance. When we have any issues related to the bike the service center of Vespa fails to rectify them even after repeated requests. Mileage is also the least compared to other bikes on market.
Very disappointed with Vespa.

Worst product ever..
After-sales services are a nightmare.
They are selling everything at very high prices.
No after-sale support. You can not get your scoter serviced at a local service station. After the purchase, my vehicle's fuel pump got malfunctioned and that fule pump is 5000rs. If you have money to waste then that scooter is for you.

All bad experience because of service centre, when we discuss about service centre.. Well there is single one service centre in bhopal and there is no management.. And they never properly communicate customers. I'm going to sale my new scooter just because of that kind of service. My experience is not good with vespa. But the vehicle is so good.

After Sales Service is ridiculous. I won't recommend anyone to purchase Vespa due to Poor after sales service.
I bought Vespa VXL 125 BS6 facelift in Sept 2020 from Bangalore. Since day one the front disc pad is jamming the wheel(Doesn't allow the wheel to freely rotate). Usually this issue should occur when the vehicle has been ridden roughly around 15,000 to 20,000 KMS with rough application of Discs. Mine is just 1800 Kms. Completed 3 free services still the issue has not been resolved. Now it is very hard to push the vehicle. That much it is causing trouble and does not feel to ride the vehicle. Service station personnel's are just pushing the days so that all free services to get over and then later only they will resolve the issue, so that the owner has to bare the expenses from his pocket. This is the main agenda of authorized dealers to deal with manufacturing defect vehicles. If there was an option rating in negative, I would have rated -10. Feeling like to burn the vehicle in front of the showroom, so that all Vespa owners and booking aspirants should be aware of the scams running by the Dealers. Doesn't know how Italian brand is trusting these type of dealers.

It was love at first sight when i saw the matt black colour vespa sxl 125. It's been almost 2 years since i own this scooter. It's very comfortable for daily commute as well as for long rides in weekends. Vespa has an impressive mileage of about 50-55 kmpl. It's an costly scooter but it also has very good built quality. Vespa is capable of reaching 90 kmph mark in 500 stretch. It's stopping power is great as it has tires with good road grip. Alternate servicing of vespa are free and paid service can cost you around 800-1000 rs. According to my ownership review vespa has only one con that is after 1500 kms some buzzing sound near front tyre. Overall vespa is very good scooter with classic looks if you are an scooter fan.

I own a sxl. My brother owns vxl. Solid pickup. Amazing looks, turns heads. Good storage underseat. Fuel tank capacity is 8 ltrs which is huge for a scooter. Carries a load of 200kgs - 3 people yet no issues with acceleration.
Nimble, agile. Metal body - therefore costly as compared to other bikes but u get what u pay for.
Mileage 35km in city..I guess due to more torquey engine rather than mileage oriented engine. U can ask service guy to tune it for more mileage if required. Overall fun to ride for people of all ages.

Buying experience was bad, and colors are limited for me in the showroom, got pearl white, looks good. Liked the black matte version more than all.Servicing yet to be done. Foot gap is less than other scooters.But could not find the logistics charges to be paid by the customer, a valid thing.But this seems common on all vehicles. Company is selling vehicles & the logistics to be paid by customers other than manufacturing, not sounding good.

Most stylish scooty that i had ever seen. Recommended to ride inside the city.Most fantastic one in that is its break control system. It is light weight too when compare to other ones. The colour of scooty is great. Maintenance is some what high. Other than that everything is simply awesome. Just love it.
