About SXL 125

Vespa SXL 125 is a scooter available in 4 variants in India. Its lowest version starts from a price of ₹1,14,700 (ex-showroom) and the top version from a price of ₹1,23,311 (ex-showroom). Vespa SXL 125 generates 9.78 bhp of power and 9.60 nm of torque from its 124.45cc engine. Single cylinder engine of Vespa SXL 125 has an automatic gearbox. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Vespa SXL 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This 114 kg scooter is available in 6 colours.

The SXL 125 is a more premium version of the VXL 125 in Vespa’s India portfolio of lifestyle scooters. It features a classic design which is in tune with the Italian marque’s retro character. What differentiates the SXL from the VXL aesthetically is the presence of a rectangular-shaped headlamp and rear view mirrors. Both of them remain identical in terms of hardware.

Staying true to their vintage theme, Vespa scooter were previously deprived of modern features. However, with the BS6 update, the manufacturer introduced a full-LED headlamp, USB charger and an under seat light. The instrument cluster comprises of an analogue speedometer along with a digital display to show other data.

The Vespa SXL 125 is based on the same single piece steel monocoque chassis, which is used in the rest of Vespa’s scooter lineup. The Vespa SXL 125 BS6 is powered by a 125cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.7bhp and 9.6Nm; 0.3bhp and 0.4Nm lower than the BS4 carbureted motor. It comes mated to a CVT gearbox.

Suspension duties are performed by a single side arm suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock in the rear. The Vespa SXL 125 rides on beefy 110-70 and 120-70 section tubeless Maxxis tyres wrapped around a 11-10-inch wheel combination.

The Vespa SXL 125 BS6 is available in yellow, orange, matt black, white, blue and red paint schemes. Vespa also offers a host of optional extras like a front chrome bumper guard, a perimeter kit and a retro visor for its range of scooters.

    all scooters have the same problem the front headlight part get sound when went to showroom they say to replace whole unit if we ask to change they will say the parts are not available I am riding without changing it irritates me I have seen several bikes coming to show
