Vespa SXL 125 Summary
Vespa SXL 125 is a scooter available in 4 variants and 12 colours. The Vespa SXL 125 is powered by 124.45cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 9.65 bhp and a torque of 10.11 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Vespa SXL 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This SXL 125 scooter weighs 115 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 7.4 liters.
The SXL 125 is a more premium version of the VXL 125 in Vespa’s India portfolio of lifestyle scooters. It features a classic design which is in tune with the Italian marque’s retro character. What differentiates the SXL from the VXL aesthetically is the presence of a rectangular-shaped headlamp and rear view mirrors. Both of them remain identical in terms of hardware.
Staying true to their vintage theme, Vespa scooter were previously deprived of modern features. However, with the BS6 update, the manufacturer introduced a full-LED headlamp, USB charger and an under seat light. The instrument cluster comprises of an analogue speedometer along with a digital display to show other data.
The Vespa SXL 125 is based on the same single piece steel monocoque chassis, which is used in the rest of Vespa’s scooter lineup. The Vespa SXL 125 BS6 is powered by a 125cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.7bhp and 9.6Nm; 0.3bhp and 0.4Nm lower than the BS4 carbureted motor. It comes mated to a CVT gearbox.
Suspension duties are performed by a single side arm suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock in the rear. The Vespa SXL 125 rides on beefy 110-70 and 120-70 section tubeless Maxxis tyres wrapped around a 11-10-inch wheel combination.
The Vespa SXL 125 BS6 is available in yellow, orange, matt black, white, blue and red paint schemes. Vespa also offers a host of optional extras like a front chrome bumper guard, a perimeter kit and a retro visor for its range of scooters.

Worst Scooty high maintenance. Parts rate also high service also worst. Maybe car maintenance was better than this scooter parts rate and also a high service center. Was service also not good may bet better in outside bike local shop. Service was very poor. The riding experience was good compared with others.

Gives good mileage although not as much as an Activa. But it's better than Activa due to its metal covering rather than a plastic one of active because of which it looks to be in good shape even after using it for a long duration of time. Been using it for some time. Has a good look to it as well. Amazing for college-going students. Would definitely recommend it.

The worst experience in this vehicle too much rate money was collected but the quality and mileage were also poor. Maintaining like a car, Spare parts are also too much costly. so many times parts are not available in the service center. Service also wastes no use. One thing the riding experience was good. Look also very good. But buying experience was not good.

On dated 31/03/2022 I booked a vespa scooter from khatwani moters madan mahal Jabalpur, at that time they told me that scooter will be delivered within 10 days but on 22/04/2022 when I enquired about my scooter they told me that it takes minimum 15 days more. Initiated for refund but till today no money refunded.

.Vespa is known for its retro-styled scooters that are precise, proportionate and amazingly built. Vespa lx125 is no exception. It features a retro-styled handlebar, wide rear view mirrors that get a chrome treatment, a round vintage-styled headlamp, neatly laid front turn blinkers over the apron, a step-up floor board, comfy single seat piece, stylish satin-finish 10-inch wheels, rear grab rail and a clunky tail section with light and turn indicators. The apron is garnished by a chrome border which is one of the highlights of the design. The front turn blinkers and the headlamp get a chrome boundary that looks very upmarket. The air intake grills over the apron also get chrome finish. The ornament on the front fender is another notable component of the scooter that looks pleasing.

First of all.. 'Vespa's are not for Indian roads' .pathetic suspensions (FR-R) . If you are looking for a daily commuter Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi Please don't go for Vespa as service sucks, monthly maintenance will make your pocket cry and constant issues are headache...For 150000 you are just getting a Premium appeal and a refined engine but at the end this bike is Total Crap.
