    I am a Vespa owner for the past three months in kochi and I have to say that the after sales services provided by Vespa and aprilia dealer is no where near to even the standards of Honda or hero scooter services. My scooter had major electrical issues from the factory and died completely while on road during a Christmas midnight. Then I had to push the scooter all the way to my home and called road side assistance in the morning and they came and took the scooter to the service Centre and I picked it up two days later with the rear number plate dented and scratched. Again the same electrical issue happened and this time I met with an accident as a result of it. After questioning them their quality of services and expressing my frustration of spending 1.4 lakhs on a scooter that constantly breaks down, they agreed to look into it thoroughly and they replaced the complete fly wheel magneto assembly. I reported the same to vespa customer care and till now, I have not received a follow up call from them. As a result of the accident, my brand new scooter has scratches on its body and when I asked them to fix it as it was not caused due to my negligence, they just painted the center stand after I insisted a lot and said that the rest of the scratches are negligible. As I didn't have time to spare behind this vehicle anymore, I just left it as it is and is thinking of fixing it under insurance later. I have to say that any people looking forward to buying aprilia or vespa must make sure that the dealer who services your vehicle has a good reputation and is committed. I had a small talk with the new customers of Vespa and Aprilia and have come to know that some are facing electrical issues with the vehicle. So, please research well before spending such a huge amount of money. Even though I am a Vespa owner, I don't find it worth spending so much considering its low mileage, dearer spare parts and low quality after sales service. I would personally not recommend any of their scooters to my dear and near ones as a person who is using it daily. The electrical issue that I had come across is just one among all the issues that I have faced since purchase. The other issues include, engine oil leak from drain bolt and engine oil filler cap after first service due to failure to replace the respective gaskets, water ingression in rear left indicator due to a broken indicator assembly from factory which I fixed using araldite and ignition coil fault that caused frequent ignition failures. All these have happened only within the second service of this scooter and I feel like selling this scooter off as soon as possible but is still holding onto it because of the huge amount of money that I have spent on it. So, please verify with anyone whom you know have purchased from a dealer nearby you before spending such a large amount. If you have no sources then, at least check for google reviews and read all reviews carefully. Please, I have suffered a lot and now i don't want anybody else falling unknowingly into their 'premium experience' tagline. So, kindly research a lot and invest your hard earned money wisely.

    First of all at the time of purchase,i bought it from heritage auto chandigarh, which is now closed i mean after one year i have the scooter but i don't have any nearest service center.

    Ride quality is good but at the price you are paying for this u can get better bikes with great mileage.

    Looks are the one thing which flattered me that's why i bought.Super awesome retro cool look.Performance is good good power 10bhp power from the 125cc motor is quite quick and the servicing cost is also less which means less maintenance cost but there should be a service station near to you then only you should buy this scooter.

  • Worst vespa experience

    I bought this vespa from siliguri from shree motors. The scooty looked awesome but the service at the showroom is so bad. These people are so unethical. I had chosen a particular colour but found that scooty to be scrapped. I told them i want a different scooty, they told sir please don't worry go home we will deliver a different scooty to you. I was out of town for a day. When i come back i was so disappointed they had coloured the same scooty and given it to me. Even a blind person could make out that the scooty had been coloured. Even the on road price that is in bikewale does not match. They are charging 104000 (one lakh four thoasand ) for vespa vxl on road which is 97647 in bikewala.Coms website on road. Very unhappy they are spoiling vepas reputation and image.

  • Vespa VXL 125 review

    I suggest you to don't buy this useless vehicle....Service in Thiruvananthapuram is very bad and they are not treating customers. Second day after purchasing this vehicle oil cap is broken and oil completely drained... Now fuel pump is complaint....Every week i will go to service center...
    Vespa note..
    After first service done, on the way back to home vehicle turned off because staffs in service center did not connect the battery properly ...The next day I went to service center riding around 20 kms one side...
    This is very poor. They are treating customers ..
    Now i don't know what to do...Due to fuel pump complaint vehicle turned off road side....Spare parts are not getting on time....

  • It is better not to buy vespa

    The use is cool. But spare parts are not available. Not even available in any showroom. It is better not to buy Vespa. If you want to change a headlight, you have to wait a month. I would not have bought it if it had been so difficult. A few months ago I ran for an accelerator cable but didn't get it.

  • Fuel indicator problem common in vespa

    I have vxl 125 brought this for regular local use.Buying experience is good.But main problem in vespa is fuel gauge indicator,its not all working.Service center would not resolve this problem. This problem is in all vespa bikes.So before buying this bike check this out.Service cost also much higher and not good.I suggest for better go for other brand scooter type.

    Worst product ever..
    After-sales services are a nightmare.
    They are selling everything at very high prices.
    No after-sale support. You can not get your scoter serviced at a local service station. After the purchase, my vehicle's fuel pump got malfunctioned and that fule pump is 5000rs. If you have money to waste then that scooter is for you.

  • Ridiculous after sales service from Vespa

    After Sales Service is ridiculous. I won't recommend anyone to purchase Vespa due to Poor after sales service.
    I bought Vespa VXL 125 BS6 facelift in Sept 2020 from Bangalore. Since day one the front disc pad is jamming the wheel(Doesn't allow the wheel to freely rotate). Usually this issue should occur when the vehicle has been ridden roughly around 15,000 to 20,000 KMS with rough application of Discs. Mine is just 1800 Kms. Completed 3 free services still the issue has not been resolved. Now it is very hard to push the vehicle. That much it is causing trouble and does not feel to ride the vehicle. Service station personnel's are just pushing the days so that all free services to get over and then later only they will resolve the issue, so that the owner has to bare the expenses from his pocket. This is the main agenda of authorized dealers to deal with manufacturing defect vehicles. If there was an option rating in negative, I would have rated -10. Feeling like to burn the vehicle in front of the showroom, so that all Vespa owners and booking aspirants should be aware of the scams running by the Dealers. Doesn't know how Italian brand is trusting these type of dealers.

    Do not purchase this Italian branded vehicle sold in India. After sales service is ridiculous. Spare parts are not available in every shop, forcefully required to get the service done by authorized dealers only. Service dealers are for name sake and doesn't listen to concerns, queries, faults in your vehicle and does what ever they need for money sake. They will resolve it only when all the free services are over!!!! So that the owner has to bare the expenses after the warranty period. These Indian service dealers are spoiling the brand name Vespa. I beg you not to purchase Vespa based on my personal experience.

    All bad experience because of service centre, when we discuss about service centre.. Well there is single one service centre in bhopal and there is no management.. And they never properly communicate customers. I'm going to sale my new scooter just because of that kind of service. My experience is not good with vespa. But the vehicle is so good.

    First of all at the time of purchase,i bought it from heritage auto chandigarh, which is now closed i mean after one year i have the scooter but i don't have any nearest service center.

    Ride quality is good but at the price you are paying for this u can get better bikes with great mileage.

    Looks are the one thing which flattered me that's why i bought.Super awesome retro cool look.Performance is good good power 10bhp power from the 125cc motor is quite quick and the servicing cost is also less which means less maintenance cost but there should be a service station near to you then only you should buy this scooter.

  • Worst vespa experience

    I bought this vespa from siliguri from shree motors. The scooty looked awesome but the service at the showroom is so bad. These people are so unethical. I had chosen a particular colour but found that scooty to be scrapped. I told them i want a different scooty, they told sir please don't worry go home we will deliver a different scooty to you. I was out of town for a day. When i come back i was so disappointed they had coloured the same scooty and given it to me. Even a blind person could make out that the scooty had been coloured. Even the on road price that is in bikewale does not match. They are charging 104000 (one lakh four thoasand ) for vespa vxl on road which is 97647 in bikewala.Coms website on road. Very unhappy they are spoiling vepas reputation and image.

    I suggest you to don't buy this useless vehicle....Service in Thiruvananthapuram is very bad and they are not treating customers. Second day after purchasing this vehicle oil cap is broken and oil completely drained... Now fuel pump is complaint....Every week i will go to service center...
    Vespa note..
    After first service done, on the way back to home vehicle turned off because staffs in service center did not connect the battery properly ...The next day I went to service center riding around 20 kms one side...
    This is very poor. They are treating customers ..
    Now i don't know what to do...Due to fuel pump complaint vehicle turned off road side....Spare parts are not getting on time....

    The use is cool. But spare parts are not available. Not even available in any showroom. It is better not to buy Vespa. If you want to change a headlight, you have to wait a month. I would not have bought it if it had been so difficult. A few months ago I ran for an accelerator cable but didn't get it.

  • Fuel indicator problem common in vespa

    I have vxl 125 brought this for regular local use.Buying experience is good.But main problem in vespa is fuel gauge indicator,its not all working.Service center would not resolve this problem. This problem is in all vespa bikes.So before buying this bike check this out.Service cost also much higher and not good.I suggest for better go for other brand scooter type.

    Worst product ever..
    After-sales services are a nightmare.
    They are selling everything at very high prices.
    No after-sale support. You can not get your scoter serviced at a local service station. After the purchase, my vehicle's fuel pump got malfunctioned and that fule pump is 5000rs. If you have money to waste then that scooter is for you.

  • Ridiculous after sales service from Vespa

    After Sales Service is ridiculous. I won't recommend anyone to purchase Vespa due to Poor after sales service.
    I bought Vespa VXL 125 BS6 facelift in Sept 2020 from Bangalore. Since day one the front disc pad is jamming the wheel(Doesn't allow the wheel to freely rotate). Usually this issue should occur when the vehicle has been ridden roughly around 15,000 to 20,000 KMS with rough application of Discs. Mine is just 1800 Kms. Completed 3 free services still the issue has not been resolved. Now it is very hard to push the vehicle. That much it is causing trouble and does not feel to ride the vehicle. Service station personnel's are just pushing the days so that all free services to get over and then later only they will resolve the issue, so that the owner has to bare the expenses from his pocket. This is the main agenda of authorized dealers to deal with manufacturing defect vehicles. If there was an option rating in negative, I would have rated -10. Feeling like to burn the vehicle in front of the showroom, so that all Vespa owners and booking aspirants should be aware of the scams running by the Dealers. Doesn't know how Italian brand is trusting these type of dealers.

    Do not purchase this Italian branded vehicle sold in India. After sales service is ridiculous. Spare parts are not available in every shop, forcefully required to get the service done by authorized dealers only. Service dealers are for name sake and doesn't listen to concerns, queries, faults in your vehicle and does what ever they need for money sake. They will resolve it only when all the free services are over!!!! So that the owner has to bare the expenses after the warranty period. These Indian service dealers are spoiling the brand name Vespa. I beg you not to purchase Vespa based on my personal experience.

    All bad experience because of service centre, when we discuss about service centre.. Well there is single one service centre in bhopal and there is no management.. And they never properly communicate customers. I'm going to sale my new scooter just because of that kind of service. My experience is not good with vespa. But the vehicle is so good.

    I am a Vespa owner for the past three months in kochi and I have to say that the after sales services provided by Vespa and aprilia dealer is no where near to even the standards of Honda or hero scooter services. My scooter had major electrical issues from the factory and died completely while on road during a Christmas midnight. Then I had to push the scooter all the way to my home and called road side assistance in the morning and they came and took the scooter to the service Centre and I picked it up two days later with the rear number plate dented and scratched. Again the same electrical issue happened and this time I met with an accident as a result of it. After questioning them their quality of services and expressing my frustration of spending 1.4 lakhs on a scooter that constantly breaks down, they agreed to look into it thoroughly and they replaced the complete fly wheel magneto assembly. I reported the same to vespa customer care and till now, I have not received a follow up call from them. As a result of the accident, my brand new scooter has scratches on its body and when I asked them to fix it as it was not caused due to my negligence, they just painted the center stand after I insisted a lot and said that the rest of the scratches are negligible. As I didn't have time to spare behind this vehicle anymore, I just left it as it is and is thinking of fixing it under insurance later. I have to say that any people looking forward to buying aprilia or vespa must make sure that the dealer who services your vehicle has a good reputation and is committed. I had a small talk with the new customers of Vespa and Aprilia and have come to know that some are facing electrical issues with the vehicle. So, please research well before spending such a huge amount of money. Even though I am a Vespa owner, I don't find it worth spending so much considering its low mileage, dearer spare parts and low quality after sales service. I would personally not recommend any of their scooters to my dear and near ones as a person who is using it daily. The electrical issue that I had come across is just one among all the issues that I have faced since purchase. The other issues include, engine oil leak from drain bolt and engine oil filler cap after first service due to failure to replace the respective gaskets, water ingression in rear left indicator due to a broken indicator assembly from factory which I fixed using araldite and ignition coil fault that caused frequent ignition failures. All these have happened only within the second service of this scooter and I feel like selling this scooter off as soon as possible but is still holding onto it because of the huge amount of money that I have spent on it. So, please verify with anyone whom you know have purchased from a dealer nearby you before spending such a large amount. If you have no sources then, at least check for google reviews and read all reviews carefully. Please, I have suffered a lot and now i don't want anybody else falling unknowingly into their 'premium experience' tagline. So, kindly research a lot and invest your hard earned money wisely.
