I take her for trekking and night camps, she never got a scratch and always was comfortable to go on rocky mountains and bumpy roads. As named its a classic. Doesn't require much maintenance even after so rough usage. Its heavy yet the most powerful vehicle to take anywhere on any road with less effort.

Let the bike have only original royal Enfield accessories, check and change oil after every 1,800 km of ride , if you could handle it nicely it has the power to go almost 50-56° of mud land.

  • Classic 350 is a best option for daily use and rides

    Akshay Abnave

Classic 350 for me is awesome bike. I brought this bike before 2 years. As per build quality and performance it's at best price. I have done many rides on my classic 350 really a great riding experience. It feels royal while riding classic 350. Services and maintenance is little high than another domestic bikes but it's fine when we compare with other bike and there performance and build quality.

It's not very comfortable for tall people. Plus it has serious electrical issues. I am facing this problem in every 2 months . Worst bike.

While riding it's good . It runs smoothly . I have gone on many long trips but only problem i faced was electrical problem. Even the battery remains charged but it has some wiring issues.. The wire gets short many a times and engine never turns on .

  • It’s not an engine it’s a heart of a rider.

    Amitabh S Nair

I was very exited about buying this cruiser bike as this is my first bike as I own Activa 5g and used it for daily commute. So I need an upgrade and it was the classic 350. I will give my honest review and the experiences I have come across with this bike.
    Riding experience :
    1) First of all the riding posture is excellent for the rider but for the pillion, he will have to undergo some sort of back pain during long rides (upgrading to touring seat will be good) but for city commute it is excellent. Going over the speed breakers at 40 km/l won’t give any jerk to the rider and pillion as well.
    2) The ergonomics for this cruiser bike is excellent as my height is 5’9 and didn’t experience any back pain or any sort of discomfort.
    3) Going over 80 km/h i.e. 110 - 120 km/h will give a lot of vibrations and no matter what type of handle bar you put in or change the seat, it will vibrate the hell outta you. So it is not recommended.
    Performance :
    1) Haven’t done any off-roading with this bike but going uphill on 2nd gear will look like sliding through butter.
    2) I have done speed test and clocked around 120 km/h. Undergone vibration therapy and you can hear the engine roar. But as you slow down you won’t hear any roar and you will doubt yourself that is the engine still running. I haven’t changed the silencer.
    3) Throttle response is very good. Since I haven’t done any modifications on the exhaust the sound is smooth and silent. You won’t hear any roar unless you rash drive.
    Servicing & maintenance:
    1) Since the bike is loaded with metal parts it is prone for rusting. But proper cleaning and chain lubrication will prevent it. Recommend to use the motul c2.
    2) Cleaning the bike once or twice a week or every after two weeks is good as it maintains the bike colour as well as the look .
    3) Make sure that the water don’t get clogged in the fork nuts as it will lead to rusting.
    4) Use bike covers to prevent any animals peeing onto your bike as well as dust and rain.
    Pros :
    1) Good ergonomics
    2) Fuel efficient (38 km/l)
    3) Comfort ride
    Cons :
    1) Vibrates a lot at 120 km/h
    2) Rear drum brakes loosens so need to adjust every 500 km.
    3) Not good for high speed race with your friends as it is not meant for it.
If you respect your bike, the bike will respect you .
I hope this review will sort all you doubts .

  • Avanger220 is royal Enfield classic 350 and bad service and customer support. Think once. Waste of money.

    Ayyappa Sunkara

Worst performance, and worst experience. The service center people don't even know how to resolve issues. They just changes the engine oil and delivers our bike and this machine, don't even win the race with avenger 220. I lost the race for 2 times. It just sticks at 100 km on speedometer, can't get 120 speed also. But it drinks fuel 1 liter per 28 to 30 km. That's it. I got the dual channel abs version of sand stroke. Brakes were awesome. Engine heats overly. Please make sure once if you are planning to take one. Their service team was worst. TVS service is 2000 times better than this royal Enfield service. If you want to install the heavy guard at showroom please think once. It's just a scrap and it cost's around 3500 to 3800 . At beginning they will promise of 1 year replacement Guarantee but I have faced the same issue, the guard was broken during the crisis. I got welded it ,and after the lockdown they refused to exchange the guard.

  • Nothing is royal in royal enfield now. Its better to buy rider friendly bikes instead of brand name.

    Prateek

Buying experience was not so good, you have to book for the same in advance. Also they don't give bill for the full amount you paid and no option to avoid extra cost like locks and helmet. Riding is comfortable but sometime vibration is so much irritating and harming hands, its better to go for other bike. Pickup is very poor, its sounds bad in traffic when it suddenly stop and making noise in engine like something stuck. Further mileage you can't actually check as there is no fuel meter and stop anywhere without knowing how much fuel left. Servicing and maintenance is very high and charge additional cost then mrp in the name of labour charges.

  • My experience with classic 350 (1)

    Raghu

I bought the bike 3 months(july, 2016) back and rode 3000 km till now. Its really an amazing bike. Its the airavatha. I feel like the maha raja when i sit on it. Excellent ride comfort and seating position. Fuel economy is 37 kmpl in city(bangalore) and 42-45 on high ways.

I have done some research like any other men/women before buying. Finally decided to go with classic 350 black. I think every bike has some things to be consider with it.

I dont have any magor compalints to say about my bike. These are some findings from my 3 months experience with classic 350.

Gear box was a little hard initially, hitting neutral was difficult but after first servicing its really smooth.

Vibrations are high when you hit 100 km speed. Also it vibrates when you chnage gear and slow down speed suddenly.

I donno what material they have used in making the seats, but they are really hard. Butts burns when you go for long rides.

Though fuel indicator is not there, i never had any problem with it.

If you have a thin personality like me, dont worry. Go for it. Once you get a hang off it, you wont feel much trouble in handling its heavyness. Pay some attention how and where you are parking. So you can avoid pulling for great extent.

  • Awesome RE

    Dinesh

I m using this bike from December 2020, mileage is ok its around 35 to 40
Bike sound is normal compared to bs4. its starts some vibration when you reach 90 above. If you maintain level 60-80 km it will give good mileage. it is more safety, excellent abs system works superb
So when you purchase the classic 350 don't compare the speed with other bike like 220, 200ns Jawa etc...Because RE is rider bike not racing bike....
Proud to be RE bike owner...
