Gogoro has taken the wraps off its most powerful electric scooter yet – the Pulse. This new EV is being positioned as a premium high-performance product.
The Gogoro Pulse has been designed and developed to look really smart and also churn out a performance that will entice the rider. The overall styling of this e-scooter is something new for the brand. The fascia comes with a matrix LED headlight. This unit has 13 single LEDs which will auto-adjust independently based on the speed and visibility conditions. It also comes with cornering lights.
The Gogoro Pulse is equipped with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen dashboard that is powered by a Snapdragon QWM2290 processor. This colour cluster shows turn-by-turn navigation with real-time traffic updates, along with the usual ride data. The overall layout of this cluster looks quite promising. Using Bluetooth, a wide range of features can also be used.
This EV gets its power from an air-cooled Hyper Drive H1 motor. This motor produces a peak power output of 9kW and can do 0-50kmph in 3 seconds. The scooter comes with six riding modes - City, Touring, Track, Range, Dirt and Custom. Interestingly, a traction control system is also offered with a scooter as standard.
The Gogoro Pulse will go on sale in India this year. As of now, there are no details about the launch of this EV in India, but looking at the styling and the spec sheet, this scooter could attract a good fan following.
