Suzuki India recently launched the 155cc fully-faired Suzuki Gixxer SF motorcycle. The company now plans to focus on the premium end of the motorcycle segment in India. With this in mind, the manufacturer plans to launch the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F for the Indian market by June 2015.

Suzuki Endurance Racing Team has unveiled the 2015 GSX-R1000 endurance race bike for this year’s World Endurance Championship. The Japanese manufacturer will attempt to score its 14th victory in the WEC with the new GSX-R1000, which will be ridden by the team’s riders - Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Etienne Masson.

Suzuki has officially revealed its title sponsor and the race bike’s livery for the 2015 season of MotoGP. After taking a three-year hiatus from the premier class motorcycle racing championship, the Japanese manufacturer will be returning to MotoGP as ‘Team Suzuki Ecstar’, with Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Vinales riding the new GSX-RR race bike.

Japanese media is reporting that Suzuki is planning to put the Recursion concept motorcycle in to production. First unveiled at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show, the Recursion’s biggest highlight was its turbocharged engine. And while Kawasaki might have surpassed Suzuki when it comes to forced induction in motorcycles, the Recursion will face no threat from the Ninja H2 as it is will be positioned as a middleweight.

Suzuki had unveiled two new motorcycles at the recently concluded 2014 Intermot show – the GSX-S1000 and the GSX-S1000F. Both the bikes have been built on a new platform and are powered by the 2008 GSX-R1000 engine, but have been retuned for more low-to-mid range power output. While the GSX-S1000 is a naked motorcycle, the GSX-S1000F gets full-fairing and that is the only feature that distinguishes itself from the naked sibling. Currently we have no information if Suzuki India is planning to launch these bikes in India, but as a motorcycle enthusiast we would love to see them on Indian roads. Suzuki has unveiled the GSX-1000 and GSX-S1000F at the 2014 Intermot taking place in Cologne, Germany. The GSX is the Japanese two-wheeler maker’s litre class competitor and has been on sale since 2001. The motorcycle get a host of mechanical changes but remains the same in terms of appearance.

The 2015 Suzuki GSX-S1000 has been spotted for the first time ever in its full glory at the motorcycles’ official photo shoot in the United States. While introducing naked versions of the superbikes is a common trend among motorcycle manufacturers nowadays, the GSX-S1000 is Suzuki’s first such litre bike to be derived from its superbike sibling.

Suzuki Motorcycle has confirmed that a 1 Million Commemorative Edition GSX-R1000 will make an appearance for the 2013 model year. It will have a USD 200 premium over the standard GSX-R1000 (an additional Rs 11,000 before taxes and duties) for a few extra features.
