Mahindra Peugeot motorcycles has dominated the opening round of the Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (CIV 2015 Moto3) winning both races at the Misano circuit in Italy. Marco Bezzecchi riding the Mahindra Peugeot MGP3O motorcycle for team Minimoto Portomaggiore, claimed the top step of the podium in both races of the opening round. He was joined on the rostrum by team-mate Fabio Spiranelli in the first race.
This winning start in one of Europe’s most competitive National Racing Championships is a proud moment for India’s only manufacturer of high performance racing bikes. The Mahindra Peugeot MGP3O’s double victory in Misano, against an extremely competitive, top-class field demonstrates Mahindra’s world-class two wheeler technology.
It also showcases the growing synergies between Mahindra Racing and the Peugeot business, and will play an important role in building the Peugeot brand in Italy and other European markets.
