Gixxer sf - every ride is a fresh ride..!

Gixxer sf is the most affordable sports bike in this 150 cc segment. Even though it's 150 cc, it's comparable with 180 to 200 cc bikes when it comes to look and performance. It revs like sports bike as coming under tagline of street sports bike. Fairing is not just for look, when driving in a highway, it blasts the wind like rocket.
Engine, always asks you to open the throttle. It's very smooth even at higher rpms. It will always make your ride feel fresh and cool.
Bybre brekes are giving enough stopping power to gixxer. It's having neat digital instrument control which has clock, 2 trip meters, gear shift indicator and provision has been given to adjust the rpms range.
The one thing that i love most with gixxer sf is cornering. It's simply awesome in corners. It's wider radial tire is really performing well in corners.
Exhaust note is so good. That too while closing the throttle, it's like a big bike.
Then the next good thing about this bike, low maintenance costs. It will not make you to visit service centre frequently.
Millage, if you are maintaining well, then it is giving around 50 km/l.
The things which could have been done better with gixxer sf are,
1. Mirrors which are mounted on fairing. It's wider than the handle bar. So driving in traffic with mirrors are very difficult. And it gets loosen so frequently.
2. Gear shift is really hard. It's really makes you difficult to shift gears if you don't have shoes on your foot.
3. Head light density is very low. If you are travelling outside city with stock head lamp, it will be very difficult during night time.

1. Always read the user manual before going for a service. So it will be helpful to prepare a check list for your service. You have to ask the service persons about specific things to do. 2. Do chain clean and lube once in 500 to 1000 km. 3. Change engine oil once in 3 months or 3500 to 4000 kms 4. Brand new bikes should be maintained the rpms specified in the user manual for the certain period of time. 5. To prevent paint from sun do cleaning & wax coating once in 2 to 3 months. 6. Don't park in the direct sun light if you are parking outside cover it with bike body cover. 7. Shift gears with in 4000 to 4500 rpm. 8. Clean the disc brakes at regular intervals using disk brake cleaners. 9. Turn off the petrol if you gonna park your bike for more than 5 minutes. 10. Maintain the recommended tire pressure front - 29 psi rear - 33 psi

Hey there i bought new suzuki gixxer sf on june 2016. In my bike there are lots of problems. So i give my bike for 2 service and it took half day to get done. Its very very worst suzuki servise center they didn't solve the problems, i have requested them several times but they don't respond and not co-operating, especially hyderabad tarnaka suzuki bike services center is veryyyyyyyyy worst i never see that kind of bad service.

This bike is good in all respect according to price, breaking system and speed control is quite awesome among 150 cc other bikes. Mileage on long drives is 45-46 km/l and in local areas mileage reduces to 40 km/l I have ridden this bike at the top speed of 122,Fiber body part, so it requires high maintenance and servicing in every 3 months.

Journey with the 2016 gixxer sf

I bought suzuki gixxer sf matt triton blue from bharat suzuki pune. Pros.1.Good machine, engine performance is remarkable. 2.No heating issue up to 40k after that slight heating was started from engine side. 3.Riding position 4.Gear ratio 5.Good aerodynamic design. Cons: 1. Tight gear shaft, painful gear shifting. If the clutch wire is little loose then it is horrible to change the gear. 2.Oil leakage through magnetic coil wire. They first replaced the cover.It costs around 250 rupees,but it was not stopped. Then i changed magnetic coil (rs 1600). After 100 km again restarted the same problem. After watching a youtube video i applied some gasket maker on the part , then only it stopped.3.Spare part availability is very poor in our area. My front break disc was damaged and purchased new one. When the mechanic started to changing it he said that your mc kit and wheel cylinder kit should be replaced then only we can fix the issue permanently. I inquired in three authorized showrooms in my area and all of them said that part is not available here. Then i searched on local market their also it was not available. Then i tried mc kit with pulsar 180 spare and caliper piston with cb shine, both works fine in gixxer sf. I ordered these parts in bharat suzuki they said that it take 2 weeks to reach the item. After 2 weeks i called them , but again they needed one more week. At last i received a message that my parts are came. I visited showroom and told them that i need only wc kit , they gave me one piston with o rings. After that they arranged one more pistons after three days. Total 25 days for a small spare part. 4.During rain water will enter through tank cap. It will cause corrosion inside water tank . Check frequently. 5.Switch quality is below average. 6.Handle bar is not good. The side stand is too straight. Bike fell down many times due to this height of side stand. All these times handle bar gets some damage and its quality is very bad. 7. Seat comfort is not up to the mark. Especially pillion seat. Pillion will feel discomfort even after 20km ride.Rider can enjoy 60 km continuous ride easily.8.Spare parts rates are similar to royal enfield parts. Average life of some parts: 1.Chain sprocket-13000-16000km. 2.Front disc pad-15000km. 3.Clutch cable-22000km. 4. Accelarator cable-20000km 5.Mrf tyres -25000k. 6.Engine oil-4500km. 7.Cone set-25000km.

Do not buy any suzuki bike. I am from kolkata. Service centre is trying their best.But service centre delaying due to product unavailability from company's end and always have been facing same issue in kolkata. You can not find spare parts outside . These days suzuki delivers spare parts with defect. They deny any manufacturing defects except engine. I have purchased this bike after paying full payment in cash. Bike is good. Plastic quality of fairing is not good.But after sales service from company's end is worst.and you would not get cash less insurance claim for suzuki bikes. Most important.My review is based on Kolkata only. Go for honda or tvs...

1) I bought this bike in 2015 its 2years from now but i still feel its the perfect bike for value of money in 150cc aircooled carburettor segment one can buy.
My riding experience with this bike is excellent it has long seat so its comfortable and well cushioned so not a pain in ass. The riding position is upright means you can travel long distances at ease.
2) Performance wise it has adequate power and the torque is nice through all the gears.One can pickup the bike at 30kmph in 5th gear with ease.
3) Look wise this bike is a head turner everywhere you go people always ask for the price and kitna deti h(a must thing for indians :d)
4) i have completed 2 years and 5000+kms on this and i rarely face any issue with the bike also suzuki dealerships are very helpful they do some little things like filling up disc reservoir for free.I service my bike every 2000kms and its working perfectly fine.
5) Let's talk about pros first
• has adequate power for a bike with sub 160cc air cooled carburettor segment.
•Fuel economy is good.(I get around 43-45kmpl) which is good for bike like this.
•Requires less frequent servicing(i perform lubrication at home only)
•with this bike suzuki claims 5 yeras warranty with unlimited km's which is just great.
• Gear shift is smooth and also the clutch is superlight to operate.
•Feels premium gives big bike like feel.Vibrations are minimum they start post 6500 rpm mark and one can rarely feel it on handlebars as the vibrations are limited to footpegs only.
•Digital console gives evey information from clock to the present gear you are riding in, tachometer,speedometer and two trip metres and you also get an rpm limiter which can be adjusted very easily.
• Sound engineering is nice as it has single into dual type exhaust which also contributes to the bike's aesthetics.
•Bike is very comfortable and you can use it for daily commutes as well as highway riding.
Cons:-
• inclusion of sixth gear would have been nice.
•Pillion seat is very uncomfortable.
•Although it has projector lamps but you cannot rely on them the headlight is just horrible.
• Braking doesn't gives both feedback and feel. A little improvement on brakes would have been nice.
•Although the bike is topnotch but the plastic used on the buttons upon handlebar feels cheap.This bike also has a great turning radius and less ground clearance which is not good for giant speedbreakers like in our country.
• Less options available for customization.

Easy to buy within 2 hours you can buy this bike.Comfortable riding i do complete 600 km in a day . Riding experience is amazing.Looks is amazing and sporty . Performance is good pickup is very much better.Less service cost and it need less service . Long lasting bike. I advised everyone to buy this bike under budget.

This is a great bike, it's handling is so comfortable & it's pickup is fantastic when i ride this bike my speed is unstoppable my friend are also say to me this is a sexy bike not in only looking it is sexy also in riding and is plastic quality is good and the exhaust sound is silent but it's not a big deal.

I love riding this bike because it's very smooth and eco friendly.... Its very sexy look which attracts most of the people who sees it. Mileage of this bike is good in sports segment.. All the material used is of great quality.. Off course it's suzuki..

Awesome bike for me this price tag 1lakh 10 thousand. Superb riding top speed 131 kmph. Looks like baby gsxr 1000 Service depending on your area my 150 cc bike first service price less than under 2000. Pros awesome look , mileage 40 to 43 , handle. Cons dirty silencer,plastic body,gear indicate invisible 2 to 5.

1. Mirrors which are mounted on fairing. It's wider than the handle bar. So driving in traffic with mirrors are very difficult. And it gets loosen so frequently.
2. Gear shift is really hard. It's really makes you difficult to shift gears if you don't have shoes on your foot.
3. Head light density is very low. If you are travelling outside city with stock head lamp, it will be very difficult during night time.

1. Always read the user manual before going for a service. So it will be helpful to prepare a check list for your service. You have to ask the service persons about specific things to do. 2. Do chain clean and lube once in 500 to 1000 km. 3. Change engine oil once in 3 months or 3500 to 4000 kms 4. Brand new bikes should be maintained the rpms specified in the user manual for the certain period of time. 5. To prevent paint from sun do cleaning & wax coating once in 2 to 3 months. 6. Don't park in the direct sun light if you are parking outside cover it with bike body cover. 7. Shift gears with in 4000 to 4500 rpm. 8. Clean the disc brakes at regular intervals using disk brake cleaners. 9. Turn off the petrol if you gonna park your bike for more than 5 minutes. 10. Maintain the recommended tire pressure front - 29 psi rear - 33 psi

Hey there i bought new suzuki gixxer sf on june 2016. In my bike there are lots of problems. So i give my bike for 2 service and it took half day to get done. Its very very worst suzuki servise center they didn't solve the problems, i have requested them several times but they don't respond and not co-operating, especially hyderabad tarnaka suzuki bike services center is veryyyyyyyyy worst i never see that kind of bad service.

This bike is good in all respect according to price, breaking system and speed control is quite awesome among 150 cc other bikes. Mileage on long drives is 45-46 km/l and in local areas mileage reduces to 40 km/l I have ridden this bike at the top speed of 122,Fiber body part, so it requires high maintenance and servicing in every 3 months.

Journey with the 2016 gixxer sf

I bought suzuki gixxer sf matt triton blue from bharat suzuki pune. Pros.1.Good machine, engine performance is remarkable. 2.No heating issue up to 40k after that slight heating was started from engine side. 3.Riding position 4.Gear ratio 5.Good aerodynamic design. Cons: 1. Tight gear shaft, painful gear shifting. If the clutch wire is little loose then it is horrible to change the gear. 2.Oil leakage through magnetic coil wire. They first replaced the cover.It costs around 250 rupees,but it was not stopped. Then i changed magnetic coil (rs 1600). After 100 km again restarted the same problem. After watching a youtube video i applied some gasket maker on the part , then only it stopped.3.Spare part availability is very poor in our area. My front break disc was damaged and purchased new one. When the mechanic started to changing it he said that your mc kit and wheel cylinder kit should be replaced then only we can fix the issue permanently. I inquired in three authorized showrooms in my area and all of them said that part is not available here. Then i searched on local market their also it was not available. Then i tried mc kit with pulsar 180 spare and caliper piston with cb shine, both works fine in gixxer sf. I ordered these parts in bharat suzuki they said that it take 2 weeks to reach the item. After 2 weeks i called them , but again they needed one more week. At last i received a message that my parts are came. I visited showroom and told them that i need only wc kit , they gave me one piston with o rings. After that they arranged one more pistons after three days. Total 25 days for a small spare part. 4.During rain water will enter through tank cap. It will cause corrosion inside water tank . Check frequently. 5.Switch quality is below average. 6.Handle bar is not good. The side stand is too straight. Bike fell down many times due to this height of side stand. All these times handle bar gets some damage and its quality is very bad. 7. Seat comfort is not up to the mark. Especially pillion seat. Pillion will feel discomfort even after 20km ride.Rider can enjoy 60 km continuous ride easily.8.Spare parts rates are similar to royal enfield parts. Average life of some parts: 1.Chain sprocket-13000-16000km. 2.Front disc pad-15000km. 3.Clutch cable-22000km. 4. Accelarator cable-20000km 5.Mrf tyres -25000k. 6.Engine oil-4500km. 7.Cone set-25000km.

Do not buy any suzuki bike. I am from kolkata. Service centre is trying their best.But service centre delaying due to product unavailability from company's end and always have been facing same issue in kolkata. You can not find spare parts outside . These days suzuki delivers spare parts with defect. They deny any manufacturing defects except engine. I have purchased this bike after paying full payment in cash. Bike is good. Plastic quality of fairing is not good.But after sales service from company's end is worst.and you would not get cash less insurance claim for suzuki bikes. Most important.My review is based on Kolkata only. Go for honda or tvs...

1) I bought this bike in 2015 its 2years from now but i still feel its the perfect bike for value of money in 150cc aircooled carburettor segment one can buy.
My riding experience with this bike is excellent it has long seat so its comfortable and well cushioned so not a pain in ass. The riding position is upright means you can travel long distances at ease.
2) Performance wise it has adequate power and the torque is nice through all the gears.One can pickup the bike at 30kmph in 5th gear with ease.
3) Look wise this bike is a head turner everywhere you go people always ask for the price and kitna deti h(a must thing for indians :d)
4) i have completed 2 years and 5000+kms on this and i rarely face any issue with the bike also suzuki dealerships are very helpful they do some little things like filling up disc reservoir for free.I service my bike every 2000kms and its working perfectly fine.
5) Let's talk about pros first
• has adequate power for a bike with sub 160cc air cooled carburettor segment.
•Fuel economy is good.(I get around 43-45kmpl) which is good for bike like this.
•Requires less frequent servicing(i perform lubrication at home only)
•with this bike suzuki claims 5 yeras warranty with unlimited km's which is just great.
• Gear shift is smooth and also the clutch is superlight to operate.
•Feels premium gives big bike like feel.Vibrations are minimum they start post 6500 rpm mark and one can rarely feel it on handlebars as the vibrations are limited to footpegs only.
•Digital console gives evey information from clock to the present gear you are riding in, tachometer,speedometer and two trip metres and you also get an rpm limiter which can be adjusted very easily.
• Sound engineering is nice as it has single into dual type exhaust which also contributes to the bike's aesthetics.
•Bike is very comfortable and you can use it for daily commutes as well as highway riding.
Cons:-
• inclusion of sixth gear would have been nice.
•Pillion seat is very uncomfortable.
•Although it has projector lamps but you cannot rely on them the headlight is just horrible.
• Braking doesn't gives both feedback and feel. A little improvement on brakes would have been nice.
•Although the bike is topnotch but the plastic used on the buttons upon handlebar feels cheap.This bike also has a great turning radius and less ground clearance which is not good for giant speedbreakers like in our country.
• Less options available for customization.

Easy to buy within 2 hours you can buy this bike.Comfortable riding i do complete 600 km in a day . Riding experience is amazing.Looks is amazing and sporty . Performance is good pickup is very much better.Less service cost and it need less service . Long lasting bike. I advised everyone to buy this bike under budget.

This is a great bike, it's handling is so comfortable & it's pickup is fantastic when i ride this bike my speed is unstoppable my friend are also say to me this is a sexy bike not in only looking it is sexy also in riding and is plastic quality is good and the exhaust sound is silent but it's not a big deal.

I love riding this bike because it's very smooth and eco friendly.... Its very sexy look which attracts most of the people who sees it. Mileage of this bike is good in sports segment.. All the material used is of great quality.. Off course it's suzuki..

Awesome bike for me this price tag 1lakh 10 thousand. Superb riding top speed 131 kmph. Looks like baby gsxr 1000 Service depending on your area my 150 cc bike first service price less than under 2000. Pros awesome look , mileage 40 to 43 , handle. Cons dirty silencer,plastic body,gear indicate invisible 2 to 5.

Gixxer sf - every ride is a fresh ride..!

Gixxer sf is the most affordable sports bike in this 150 cc segment. Even though it's 150 cc, it's comparable with 180 to 200 cc bikes when it comes to look and performance. It revs like sports bike as coming under tagline of street sports bike. Fairing is not just for look, when driving in a highway, it blasts the wind like rocket.
Engine, always asks you to open the throttle. It's very smooth even at higher rpms. It will always make your ride feel fresh and cool.
Bybre brekes are giving enough stopping power to gixxer. It's having neat digital instrument control which has clock, 2 trip meters, gear shift indicator and provision has been given to adjust the rpms range.
The one thing that i love most with gixxer sf is cornering. It's simply awesome in corners. It's wider radial tire is really performing well in corners.
Exhaust note is so good. That too while closing the throttle, it's like a big bike.
Then the next good thing about this bike, low maintenance costs. It will not make you to visit service centre frequently.
Millage, if you are maintaining well, then it is giving around 50 km/l.
The things which could have been done better with gixxer sf are,
