Here’s a picture of what could be the upcoming 250cc adventure bikes from Suzuki and Kawasaki. The Kawasaki Versys 250 and the Suzuki V-Strom 250 are names we have been hearing from a few months now and here is what looks to be a rendering of the same.

Suzuki Australia has announced the release of the V-Strom 1000GT – Grand Tourer edition. Suzuki says that the adventure motorcycle is meant for Australia with its vast distances and remote, rugged terrain.

The internet has been abuzz with speculations regarding Suzuki’s plans of launching a new, more powerful Gixxer, packing a newly developed 250cc engine. While Suzuki hasn’t confirmed this as yet, we believe that this new quarter-litre bike might also serve as the base for a new entry-level adventure touring model, rumoured to be christened the V-Strom 250.

Suzuki has unveiled a new special edition of its popular adventure touring motorcycle, the V-Strom 1000 Adventure, at the Motorcycle Live 2014 in Birmingham, UK. Called the Dessert edition, the motorcycle is mechanically identical to the standard version, though it gets a new paint scheme and some extra equipment to justify the extra GBP 600 (Rs 58,568) it costs over the regular V-Strom 1000 Adventure.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Ltd. (SMIL) has announced a growth of 19 per cent in sales for March 2014 in comparison to the sales figures in the same month last year.
