Royal Enfield has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the new Meteor 350. The latest model replaces the Thunderbird 350X in the Chennai-based manufacturer’s portfolio, and it uses the company’s all-new J platform. The new Meteor 350 will be available in three variants – Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. Check out the variant-wise prices below:

The three variants vary in terms of paint schemes and a few other components. The Fireball, which is the most affordable variant, will be sold in Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red paint schemes. The Meteor 350 Stellar variant will be available in three colours – Red Metallic, Black Matte, and Blue Metallic. Lastly, the top-spec Supernova variant will be offered in two paint options – Brown and Blue dual-tone paint schemes.
Styling cues will be similar to the Thunderbird 350X, and the new Meteor 350 will feature a quintessential cruiser stance. The feature list will comprise of a circular headlamp with LED DRL, a USB charger, a peanut-shaped fuel tank, pulled back handlebar, swooping rear fender, and an LED taillight. The motorcycle also gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Mechanical specifications include a BS6-compliant 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke motor that makes 20.2bhp and 27Nm of peak torque. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension setup on the new Meteor 350 includes telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear shock absorbers while the anchoring tasks are performed by single discs on both wheels. The safety net includes dual-channel ABS.
The Meteor 350 will rival the likes of the new Honda H’ness CB 350, Jawa Standard and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
