2019 Kawasaki Ninja 650: What else can you buy

Kawasaki recently introduced a new colour for the Ninja 650 priced at Rs 5.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). If you are on the lookout for a motorcycle priced similarly, there are 8 options you could consider. Here is the list- 

If you prefer a fully-faired sportbike, you could have the Kawasaki Ninja 400 which is priced at Rs 4.69 lakhs. The bike uses a 399cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 47.5bhp and 38Nm of torque.

Also on offer is the Hyosung GT650R at Rs 5.09 lakhs. It is powered by a 647cc, V-twin engine that churns out 72.68bhp and 60.9Nm of torque. 

There are also three cruisers that you could buy.  On offer is the Hyosung Aquila Pro650 which uses the 647cc engine as the GT650R although with a different power output. This unit produces 74bhp and 62Nm of torque. The Aquila Pro650 will set you back by Rs 5.63 lakhs.

You could also look at the Harley-Davidson Street 750 which costs Rs 5.53 lakhs. The bike uses a 749cc, V-twin engine that produces 47bhp and 59Nm of torque. Kawasaki has the Vulcan S priced at Rs 5.48 lakhs. The bike is powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin motor that puts out 59.5bhp and 63Nm of torque.

In a streetfighter body style, Kawasaki has the Z650 priced at Rs 4.99 lakhs. It is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin motor that produces 67.2bhp and 65.7Nm of torque. Offering two additional cylinders is the Benelli TNT600i. The 600cc in-line four unit puts out 85.07bhp and 54.6Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 6.03 lakhs. 

The only adventure-touring motorcycle in this list is the Kawasaki Versys X-300. It is priced at Rs 4.69 lakhs and is powered by a 296cc, parallel-twin engine that puts out 38.7bhp and 25.7Nm of torque.
