About GT650R

Korean motorcycle brand Hyosung first launched the GT 650R in India in 2012. Introduced as a middle weight performance motorcycle, the GT 650R continues to remain one of Hyosung’s most popular offering worldwide.

The GT 650R went through a major cosmetic upgrade in 2013. The front-end was completely restyled and now features a stylish new design which also aids the overall aerodynamics. Behind the new face sits a fairly big fuel tank which can hold up to 17 litres of fuel.

The GT 650R is powered by a 647cc, V-twin engine which produces an impressive 72bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 61Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The liquid cooled, four-stroke engine is known for its punchy low and mid-range power delivery. The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox shifting in 1-down, 5-up pattern.

The Hyosung GT 650R is quite aggressively priced and competes with Kawasaki’s acclaimed Ninja 650R.
