Guys, please don’t buy anything from Jawa, they will just forget you after the sale, the main struggle starts after buying. I bought Jawa 42 Bobber from Autotech in Howrah/West Bengal, they didn’t give me any proper papers, and they took 262k from me. I had an accident after some days, and they are denying to repair my bike, I gave them my bike in the middle of Sep, till now my bike is there, but they have done nothing, and also the insurance companies are their partner in crime, you will just loose your hard earned money, you will never get to ride your bike if anything happens, what I am suffering, I just don’t want somebody to face this situation, please choose some other brand who has values, they have no respect for their customers, please don’t waste your money on Jawa, you will see what happens if you have any type of issue with your bike, how they behave with you, you will only suffer after buying your bike, they will not solve any problem, they will only take your money then kick you out, will not give any service to you, a total waste of time and money, you will get depressed.

The buying experience was good, I got the black mirror model in two weeks.
The riding experience in the city and highway both was great, the bike never disappointed me, and it always pushed my limit. Looks are excellent speciality the black mirror and performance is out of the blue.
Service and maintenance are a bit high but yeah it's okay for such a good performance bike.
Pros- Looks, comfort, overall performance.
Cons- single sit-only, maintenance.

Delivery of the bike will happen in 4 days, as usual friendly salesperson. on the road the bike can easily clock to 80+, you won't realize it is in 100KMPH without looking at the speedometer. ride and control will be very easy.
when you ride or in signal or parking all eyes will be on your bike only, the look and performance are awesome, and one can easily navigate the traffic just like gearless scooters.40KMPH in 2nd gear is possible.
The service centre looks like a mechanic shed, In Chennai itself you have very few service centres,
The bike is provided with a side stand only and no centre stand, so you cannot clean the chain by yourself, local mechanics are not aware of anything about this bike. engine heat is a headache in this bike and there is no proper guard provided for the silencer, easily burns your leg my raincoat pants got burned.
the road clearance is very low, so why don't they think bout Indian roads and infra, you should be very careful when driving over the speed breaker.
Pros:
The looks of the bike, performance on the road, easily rideable design and weight.
Cons:
Heating problem, The toolbox is made up of plastic even an accident with a baby cycle will damage the toolbox door. Mileage is 20-23KMPL only that too if you ride below 60KMPH, otherwise it is less than an Alto.
to summarize it is not a normal bike, it is something you have to maintain a lot, just like a super bike.

Very bad experience. The rear wheel jamming and making a loud sound just running after 91.3km, 21 days after delivery. Frustrated. The service centre is delaying the delivery of the bike after repair. I wonder what's next. I will never recommend Jawa Bikes. Towed back to service centre. By roadside assistance. Don't buy.

I've been using java 42 for more than 2yrs. I Rode 25k km till now. The bike is great look-wise l. Catches many eyes on the road. Very smooth ride compared to re. The major draw back which makes me give it 3 stars is service experience. They have only 2 service centers in a city like Mumbai. That too in the outskirts like thane/Bhandup. Never have I ever been satisfied with the work with such high service costs. Also, they do not provide spare parts so we can get the job done elsewhere. Don't know why this isn't acknowledged by the makers.

The riding experience is just awesome and the performance is crazy it goes like a gun and the sitting is the best we can travel long trips and all and the looks of the Jawa 42 bobber is stunning and I personally loved this bike and the service experience is good the mileage is up to 30 which is manageable.

1. I had my eyes on the bobber for a year. In March 2024, they announced Jasper Red with alloy wheels. That was it for me. I took the delivery of the same model on the same day.
2. Probably the best and most stable riding experience. Definitely a head-turner.
3. No comments are needed for its looks. It makes its presence known on the road. Great torque and greater pick-up. Smoother than butter. The fuel economy in my city is 21-22 Kmpl, on power petrol (strictly).
4. They have offered me a 4-year free service (labor only). But it is recommended to change oil after every 3000 km. Keep it without PPF and coatings till the first 2 services as the engine heats up too much, which may deteriorate the coats as well.
5. Pros: As written above.
Cons: Most accessories are aftermarket only.

In Diwali, I purchased a new Jawa Bobber 42, and the riding experience was awesome, it superb bobber collection, the suspension, braking system are perfect, and mostly what a power amazing, completely satisfied great and the most important thing is you are looking superb while riding.
But do not attach another seat because this bike is a cruiser bike.
