    1. Buying experience: they really made us wait for a very long period, took 2 months more than the promised delivery date.
    2. Riding: it is just amazing and the top speed on paper is 115 km/h but in real in turbo mode, it gives a top speed of 70km/h and the charging time is not so much because when we see the range after 100% charging the vehicle it gives a range of 135 kms. The charging time is 7 to 7.30 hours.
    3. Looks and performance: amazing looks and superb performance.
    4. Pro: ride quality and eco friendly, pick up too good, comfortable for 2 people, has a large boot space, built quality is very good.
    5. Con:
    A) the functional buttons are very difficult to operate.(horn, turn indicator etc)
    B) manual key lock is necessary
    C) back number plate often hits the leg
    D) side stand quality could have been better.
    E) horn sound is very inadequate.
    F) in real-life conditions it gives only 100 to 130 kms for one full charge(s1 pro)
    F) fast-charging stations and not available
    G) you cannot hold the brakes and accelerate the bike.
    H) misses out on flat floorboard
    I) unimpressive plastic quality
    J) there is a scraping sound when above 35km/hr also there is a vibration that you can feel on the foot if you wear chappals.

The buying experience was good with ola. Riding comfort, thanks to ola's wider and longer seat. It has great appeal on road with majestic colors. One thing that is bad about ola is their service and maintenance. They are not responding as they claim. The pros are uncountable and the cons are only their service facility than other companies which are less famous than ola.

  • That's really pathetic and unacceptable

    Prashant Panjabi

Huge range drop, vehicle stops in between even when it has a range of 50-60 kms. The company doesn't any solution to it. Before purchasing, it said it had a range of 180 kms as it came it never even displayed more than 119 kms. No service at all, you have to wait 15-20 mins on call to reach them, and end of the call you have to disconnect it without getting any solution to the problem. They just say reboot it and your problem will be resolved. Many features are still missing which they say will come in a short time. No proper bills were supplied at the time of delivery. Pathetic people have no experience at all in the industry.

Please don’t buy ola. They have the most worst customer service.. There is no dedicated customer care number to contact them. Always you will end up chatting with dumb chatbot..
They will not respond for any of your queries.
You will be regretting for buying this your whole life..

  • Best scooter profitable nothing loss.

Buying ola s1 pro scooter is very easy with ola cab app online and offline in their experience center
Can speed up at 116 with no vibration. Range approx 150 * per charge if riding in normal speed 40 to 50 kmph
Good looking, simple, and can have fun while riding.
    Servicing is very easy
For the daily commute, it's best.
Grab handle fitting quality is not good, front display cover fitting is also bad.

  • Detailed review from test drive and service

    Ashish Bobade

    1. Buying experience: I didn't have a budget of 1.40 lac to buy an electric scooter so I initially I tried tvs jupiter 125 which was costing me about 1.10 + on the loan then I turn to electric vehicles and started taking a test drive with magnus, bgauss, revolt and then finally ola. I was impressed with revolt but it's too tall and the waiting period was 6 months. After taking the test drive of ola I was totally impressed with the scooter as it was solving my purpose of buying the scooter as it has very good power, the best range, suspension comfort, and breaking. Even if I had the option to charge the scooter on the ground floor so I planned to go with ola only.
Ola was beyond my budget but you can say it's a one-time investment and even if I buy any petrol vehicle it will cost just 20k less but I had to pay emi and petrol expenses both which will be more burden on me. So, I decided to go with ola and i booked the scooter on 20 may and received the scooter within 10 days which is on 1st May 2022. The process was smooth and effortless.
    2. Riding experience: riding ola it feels like you are in a different zone. I still remember when i took the test ride and it changed my decision and even my budget. I was so impressed with the ride quality I immediately reserved the scooter with rs.500 from the app. These scooter suspensions are very soft hence they provide maximum comfort also the handlebar which is at a proper height and keeps you in an upright position. Tire is really good.
    3. Details about looks, performance etc.: i loved the scooter looked especially the projector lamps with halo light, also the mono shocks at the front and rear are amazing in looks and at work too. This scooter is no less than a rocket when it's in hyper mode. Also, I liked the alloy wheels which are very catchy!
    4. Servicing and maintenance: as there is no engine in the scooter there is no regular servicing or maintenance required, you can call customer care if any fault appears. Customer care either allot a technician who will come to your place and solve the issue or they will send a towing van to take the scooter to the service center.
    5. Pros:
    a. Best range of 135km in normal mode
    b. Top speed 116 kmph
    c. Navigation
    d. Music
    e. Mobile charger
    f. Big boot space
    g. Cruise control
    cons:
    a. No main stand
    b. No buddy footstep
    c. Navigation was not working since I receive the delivery and now after 6 months, it's working after changing one cord which was changed initially in July.
    d. Sometimes customer care takes more than 1 week to allot a technician even in a metro city like Mumbai.
    e. Parts are very expensive as I replaced my left braking lever which cost me about rs.700 which is way too expensive for a normal ice vehicle.
    f. No official availability of accessories and whichever they have launched are very expensive in the market.
    g. Company fails to meet its own timeline to provide all the features.
    h. We are paying the full amount for the scooter and also paying extra for an extended warranty but we are getting the promised features in installments, also these features are getting tested on customers only.

  • A green revolution at a fantastic price and value

    Kshitij

Got the scooter delivered on Jan 3rd, 2022.
Payment process : was one of the first early adopters - reserved her for 500 on july 23. 2 months later, paid an advance of 20k, and got an invite to take the test ride 15 days later. Paid the final amount in October, and received the delivery window of December 15-31. The ola representative called in December end for final confirmation and soon received the intimation of insurance and registration payment from icici lombard and rto respectively. Home delivered in a mini truck.
    Idv on insurance : 155400
    Actual cost : 197400 (ex showroom 163549, smart card - 200, postal fee - 50, registration - free, zero dep insurance - 7632, portable charger - 9000, performance upgrade - 17000)
    Fame ii subsidy : 59550 (15000 per kwh - 15000*3.97)
    Maharashtra state subsidy : 29850 (5000 per kwh - 5000*3.97 = 19850 + 10000 additional)
    Total subsidy discount : 89400
Effective on road price : 108000
Real world range : 135 kms in normal, 120 km in sports, 95 km in hyper
Arai claimed range : 181 kms
Design language : a big fan, front leds are as powerful as a dominar's and cute like wall e's face! it's parent company etergo won the german design award in 2020, so there's that too! floorboard isn't flat, but compensates by providing a 36lt boot space, that can fit 2 half face helmets, and 1 full face ls2 ece helmet sideways. Turn indicators chime through the in built speakers. Display is 7". Stock horn is typical road runner type (90s kids relate?)
Riding : very agile, planted in corners, thick 120 section mrfs provide good grip. Seat height is 790mm and well padded and you sit taller than the traffic (i'm 6 feet). Motor whines while accelerating (it's addictive). The bugs of the beta software have been fixed, and now the scooter runs a stable os.
    Performance : 0-40 : 3 seconds, 0-60 : 5 seconds, top speed : 115 kmph, torque : 58nm (accelerates in hyper mode arguably as fast as a dominar 400/ duke 250)
Charging : likes to take it in the ass through a 750w portable charger. Charging time : 6.5 hours. 6amp connection taken from home.
    Running costs : 4.54km/rupee or rs. 0.22/km. In comparison, a bike returning 35 km/l at 105/litre equals rs.3/km
    Battery warranty : 3 years
Battery life : 7 years (claimed)
Battery replacement cost : Rs. 60000 (info provided by technician, subject to drop in price as adoption increases)
Niggles : delivery date was pushed by 4 days, but guess have to give ola credit for innovation, so no complaints.
    Future updates :
March 2022 - gps, navigation and bluetooth
June 2022 - cruise control, hill hold etc

  • Ugly white duckling

    Ali Nawaab

The starting point is the buying experience and it differs from person to person as it is a subjective matter now without wasting time on it we will move on. I have an old pulsar ns 200 and so I wanted something easier going on pocket as well as on road.
I had to convince my family members because it's the first scooter as well as the first electric in my family costing 1.42 lakh on road after subsidies.
They were also comparing it with other normal scooters like activa etc hence the hesitation.
I don't like the way it looks hence I call it an ugly white duckling also mine is white in colour again looks are subjective.
Now let's talk about performance here means riding modes so different moods has different modes jokes apart.
The basic starting mode is eco mode and I call it lazy mode after this you have the normal mode which I call an ordinary mode as it behaves like any 100cc scooter going ahead there is this sports mode things are interesting from here as it behaves like any 125cc petrol-powered scooter available in the market and finally you have the hyper mode things are really hyper here I call it as the beast mode it is in this mode that you need to handle it responsibly as they say with power comes the great responsibility of course at the cost of reduced range.
As far as suspension wise this scooter is pretty below ordinary I will say so do not expect any wonders on the suspension part
I personally don't like the positioning of the side stand as it is too close to the front tyre rather than the rear tyre and that feels awkward to me. The floorboard is not flat and you feel the hump on it something like a spine which again is not good for keeping stuff on it.
Since there is no exhaust sound and that is the reason I think street dogs start running after you, especially during nighttime.
I was facing an issue with the side stand as the sensor was not able to detect whether it's engaged or disengaged reason being due to rain dust got accumulated on the side stand sensor so it stopped performing its duties lols so you need to clean it regularly.
I also got a safety guard fixed on it which cost 4500 and I feel it's on the expensive side. I was not able to find any option to post pictures of the scooter or its accessories so that readers of this review can see the same. Anyways I will end this review saying happy riding and safe riding to all riders and bikewale community as well. Bye and thanks.

  • Over all good vehicle.

    H Haribabu

  • Most tech savy bike with great mileage

    Shubham J

The buying experience was good with ola. Riding comfort, thanks to ola's wider and longer seat. It has great appeal on road with majestic colors. One thing that is bad about ola is their service and maintenance. They are not responding as they claim. The pros are uncountable and the cons are only their service facility than other companies which are less famous than ola.

Before the delivery, the scooter was not checked by the delivery person I'm getting a damaged ola scooter and I return the scooter but did not get any update about the scooter. Customer care has not given any response. No option to check the scooter repairing status.
Very poor service. I'm really not happy with the ola service. The delivery time scooter is so dirty.

    Stay away from ola.

Buying was so easy as its fully online
Riding ola s1 pro at 110 kmph is like air speed and no disbalance even heavy vehicle cross
Looks like new concept scooter, best performance
Servicing is great for some small issues, big problem may take 4 to 5 days. There is zero maintenance
    Pros:
High speed, 150+ range, disc brakes, fast charging support,
Cons: panel gap, no fit panel, no flat floor board,

    Bhavesh

Buying ola s1 pro scooter is very easy with ola cab app online and offline in their experience center
Can speed up at 116 with no vibration. Range approx 150 * per charge if riding in normal speed 40 to 50 kmph
Good looking, simple, and can have fun while riding.
    Servicing is very easy
For the daily commute, it's best.
Grab handle fitting quality is not good, front display cover fitting is also bad.

  • Over all good vehicle.

    Tips for other riders

Make sure all the sensors like side stand sensors etc are kept clean do not let dirt get accumulated on it otherwise it starts malfunctioning.
