Ola Electric is a Bengaluru based company that sells electric scooters in the Indian two-wheeler market. Ola Electric has the S1 range of electric scooters called the S1X, S1 Air and the S1 Pro.

The Ola S1 X is the base model and is the most affordable Ola Electric scooter in the range. It is available in three variants- S1X (2kWh), S1X and S1X Plus. Its price ranges between Rs 81,000 and goes up to Rs 1.12 lakh.

The Ola S1 Air is the mid-level Ola scooter and its prices begin at Rs 84,999, ex-showroom, Bangalore. The scooter is available in three battery pack options- 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh. The asking price is set at Rs 84,999, Rs 99,999, and Rs 1,09,999 (all three ex-showroom Bengaluru), respectively. Ola Electric has equipped the S1 Air with a hub-mounted motor with a peak power of 4.5kW. Ola Electric claims the S1 Air’s top speed is 95kmph, while the range is rated at 85km for the 2kWh, 125km for the 3kWh, and 165km for the 4kWh battery.

The range topping scooter is the Ola S1 Pro. Ola rolled out the second generation scooter in 2023. It has a 5kW electric motor and the company claims it can sprint from 0-40kmph in 2.6 seconds, which is faster than the first-generation S1 Pro and also achieves a higher top speed of 120kmph. They claim the scooter has a certified range of 195km in Eco mode.

Ola Electric leads the electric scooty market and clocks the highest sales, month after month. The number of variants across a wide price range, coupled with feature rich scooters that are easy to ride are some of the reasons why Ola tops the sales charts.
