In a recent update, Ola re-launched the S1 Air with three different battery options. So, it’s now available with a 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery. The asking price is set at Rs 84,999, Rs 99,999, and Rs 1,09,999 (all three ex-showroom Bengaluru), respectively.
The Ola S1 Air looks identical to the remaining two variants. It features the same twin projector headlamp, curvy body panels, a single-piece seat, and mirrors. But unlike the other models, the Air gets a flat footboard which can add to the usability as it provides a little extra storage space.
Ola has equipped the S1 Air with a hub-mounted motor with a peak power of 4.5kW. Ola claims the S1 Air’s top speed is 95kmph, while the range is rated at 85km for the 2kWh, 125km for the 3kWh, and 165km for the 4kWh battery.
It gets features like a TFT screen, smartphone connectivity, riding modes, reverse mode, side stand alert, OTA updates, music playback, remote boot lock/unlock, navigation, and predictive maintenance.
The S1 Air rides on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Its braking hardware comprises a front and rear drum brake mounted on 90/90-12 wheels. The S1 Air weighs 99kg and gets 34 litres of under-seat storage space.
Ola offers the S1 Air in five colours – Porcelain White, Neo Mint, Coral Glam, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. It rivals the Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and other electric two-wheelers in the segment.

OLA a horrible experience

Within 15 days of use, I needed to connect with the customer care/service center THRICE. Today the vehicle stopped en route about 3 km from the service center. These people demanded Rs. 1999.00 to provide the Roadside assistance of carrying the vehicle 3km. We carried it in a tempo spending 400.00. When I reached the service centre saw that they had a huge number of such non-functional bikes in the centre. The persons manning the center said that there is at least a four-day wait before they can see the bike. Never have had such a horrible experience with a two-wheeler.

Bad service after sale
Rajmane
Inferior service after the sale. Nobody is helping you if the display goes off and you can't unlock the scooter and the handle also gets locked. When you try to put in a service request it says to try after a few days. How many days are few god knows. Very bad experience don't purchase at all. If you are in a hurry nobody will help you with this type of scooter.

I recommend not to buy an OLA scooter. They don’t have After sales and service. If you complain via mail app or any other mode it will be closed without providing a resolution or they won’t even contact youJust after 2 days of delivery my scooter has so many complaints they are not providing resolution Also, they don’t have parts for replacement. Two months passed still a resolution has not been provided. Also, they don’t have any complaints escalation process.

Perfect for daily commuting. I mean just look at the design and colour options, no other electric scooter will give such a beautiful eye-catching design. Seating is very comfortable and I hope to buy it very soon. After all, the future is electric vehicles. I appreciate Ola company for doing their best to change the Indian economy. Also, I hope, the service stations and charging points will increase for customers as it is a major concern in future.

Bad quality

I bought it last month, I got 52km mileage only in eco mode also battery is draining 2% daily if I am not using it. I was riding the scooter and middle of the road it stopped and changed to parking mode, got an alert that the trunk was opened. I called customer care they helped after 2 hours then luckily one mechanic helped me reboot the bike. Not sure how they have done quality testing. Not able to get an answer from any technician if I raised a ticket. Very disappointed with their service. They are using their brand name. I would not recommend anyone to buy Ola.

Worst bike ever
Shveta Prakash Hathi
bought Ola S1 Air just 22 days. It's totally waste of money. On the 2nd day when it was raining here, I went somewhere to get a parcel. While riding its horn suddenly stops working, Then after the indicator stops working. When I reached that place, the Trunk didn't open, My wallet and mobile were in the trunk. I thought if I left off off-on this bike, Maybe the trunk open but it didn't. I had to switch off 2 times and finally, it was open. On the 3rd day, While riding on the road its liver stops working suddenly at 11 pm. Again switch off -on then it starts working. On the 10th day start button of this bike doesn't work properly. Have to switch it off 9 times and then it starts. Average in eco mode is just 70 to 72 km and in normal mode gives an average of 80 km. They told me to ride eco mode so I got the best average but it was just 72 km. It gives more average in normal mode. Charging time is worse. It fully charged in 7hr20 min. I think we made a wrong decision and bought this worst bike ever. Today on the 22nd day it didn't start and I called customer service, they told me to pay 1999 for towing it from my home. My home is just 1km from the service center. Never buy this garbage bike. Totally frustrated with this issue. Ola has to give me a refund for this or exchange this bike. Better to ride a bicycle than this garbage.
