Reviews of UM Renegade Commando

Buying experience----well residing in a tier 2(maybe 3) city has its cons...I am from ranchi,the capital of jharkhand and i had my own apprehensions about the showroom or the brand not being credible enough. Apart from dsk hyosung..So i was a bit sceptical that the buying experience would be very distasteful,but to my surprise,the buying experience was very good .Little things like the ambience of the showroom to the cooperation given by the sales representatives at um ranchi everything was great.The overall buying experience was great and i was very satisfied with it.I made the necessary formalities and had the bike in possession in less than 3 hours

Riding experience----well the bike has provides great riding experience.I have a royal enfield thunderbird as well .Compared to that ,the commando is very smooth. In fact, it's the smoothest cruiser in its segment.On top of that it is the only cruiser in its segment with fuel injection and oil cooler....The royal enfields misses on oil cooler while the avenger misses on fuel injection.

Looks, performance---- speaking of looks,this bike will help you grab eyeballs wherever you go.I have it in crimson colour. Also,I've had some accessories installed including an all led projector, windshield etc.The best thing about the bike is the way it looks...And trust me on this....It looks great.

Speaking of performance,it's good as well.Its great on the highways but the gearbox is a bit notchy. The rear brake is also a bit woodish. Also it requires frequent gear changes when in city.So if you live in a city where there's always jam-packed roads,avoid this bike

Service and maintenance----well the bike has been through just one service as of now.The service personnel at the service station looked professional.Considering the fact that there are still less um bikes in the city,there is relatively less stress on the service personnel.This might change once there are more bikes to service.As of now the service i got at the service station was good .Changed the engine oil.I recommend motul for this one.I takes in 1 litre of it. I've put in semi synthetic engine oil .The bike has become all the more smooth.

Comfort and stability on 90-100kmph

And most importantly--looks

Cons---

Absence of rear disk and abs

Brand dependability

Plastic qualities on switchgear considering the price

i have purchased this bike in November, 2017. It is a very good and comfortable bike. With good pickup and good average. People can buy it without any hesitation. It is my daily partner from the day i bought it and has never disappointed or troubled me anywhere. Look wise also it is very sexy and a must buy bike.

Dear all, I had purchased commando bike from divyanshu auto, katargam, surat. I gave my bike for insurance claim (rear tyre guard bend and small dent on fuel tank). I gave my original driving licence and rc book. After giving my bike on april 6-8, no communication was made from dealer. After 15 days i asked them about my bike, they said they have no insurance copy. So i personally manage insurance copy from icici lombard and submitted to them. Again no communication from dealer. Again after some days when i asked them about my bike, they said claim officer is not coming. So i told one of my friend in icici and completed work of it. Again after some days they ask for aadhar card and pan card, which they didn't asked in this time period, so i gave it to them. Again after some days they said bike is not ready due to festival n month. Finally after 2 and half months they gave me bike with difference charges on 28 june. Hence i received my bike worth 2 lakh after almost 2.5 month. Wow. Very poor, pathetic and hell kind of experience. It was mental harassment for me. I was unable to go anywhere without bike, and without driving licence i can not take my car too.

I bought this bike last year,in the beginning it works amazing but after first service the performance starts falling down and moreover um motors is not providing services properly.... I'm calling to service centers but the lines are unreachable..... Without work or service the bike will be of no use.I am thinking to sell it right now but i'm not getting the valuable price for it.I suggest to go for royal enfield at list they are providing proper services.

Looking very beautiful and excellent bike sporty look best for Mumbai suburban and other Indian metro cities and also comfortable for pillion riders good for teenagers and mature adults and price are very reasonably best for sporty persons and college students and celebrities political party symbol good for me

Servicing and maintenance: deadly poor

Pros :

Only pro's are design and riding posture.

Cons:

*issues with service center as the technicians don't know how to deal with issues so that you have keep on visiting the service center multiple times.

*bike is unable to balance.(started facing this after completing 3000 kms)

*lot of irritating sounds from rear front due to poor plastic quality.

On all, its not worth buying. Better go for avenger.

Amazing beast on roads, amazing look,moves on roads like butter,seats are very comfortable, i used it on a trip to manali and my experience is excellent with um, handling is to good but it have small arc so it takes more space for u turn , allover bike it to good in that range amazing experience with um renegade commando..Love this beast

The bike had little problem in bs3 models . But now the new fi engine helps in increasing the performance efficiency ....The plastic quality is not so cheap .... They have tried to fix the problems compared to bs3 model ...... However the fact that bike is overpriced is acceptable.... You will grab the people attention while on the city roads .... Comfort is good .... I have touched 110 kmph and i did not observe any vibes

First i ride this bike on test drive it was amazing because of its power and speed liked this bike after that i ordered After getting this bike on the first day i went to the long ride it was amazing But it only suits for long ride not in city ride, Charger, 6 speed, Tyre Braking needs to improve.
