Reviews of UM Renegade Commando

After sale service is worst for this brand, even during sales i faced many problems. On the first day of purchase itself the battery got drained and the problem started after that. No service center calling been answered. no good thing to say after using this bike for a year now. would definitely suggest to go for more popular brands than buying this.

Buying experience: buying is easy in um showroom. The waiting period for me is around 1.5 months.

Riding experience:the bike is really superb on the highways compare to city roads(due to the length of the bike and it gets heated when ridden in heavy traffic.. That's fine to me)

Details about looks, performance etc : looks wise it got 10/10 and performance is also up to the mark

Servicing and maintenance: in the initial phase i got the radiator issue.But the service centre guy and rsa help me to resolve it asap.

Pros:

-looks are damn awesome and its definitely attention seeker.

-comfortable for long rides(i have done 1 day mumbai-kaas plateau ride ~600km with ease )

Cons:

-abs should be there if your paying ~2 lakhs for this machine

-they should give rear disk brake for more stopping power

-there are still more ares where they can improve

Conclusion : you can give a try and ride this beast.

1.Got the renegade commando ganesh chaturthi last year Aug 2017 from ahmedabad delivery experience was not so good they ask me to come early morning at 9 am and kept me waiting till 12 noon other 2 customers came took there bike delivery in front me n i was still waiting for my bike, when i got my bike there were problems like rusty bolts scratches so i have change three bike then finally i got problem free bike.2.Riding in the city is hectic highway cruising is good.3. For look i'll give 4 fit n finish is n not proper that's why i'm giving 1 star less Performance is not so good gear shifting hard as other guys mentioned starting issues sometimes, brakes are not good.Pickup in first gear not good.4.I missed my 1st free service due to some reason so the service person wrote no warranty in my services book and ask me to come at regular intervals of bike services to regain the warranty. Service and maintenance is very costly. Service never call us regarding problems in the bike they just complete the work without asking u any thing if there is no need of oil change than also they will do without asking your permission to do so. 5. Pros-looks cons- vibration, not good quality of wiring and plastic, fit n finish not good tyres are not tubeless don't have rear discs brake at this cost.Don't recommend this bike. Not worth to pay 2 lakh.

The bike has stunning look but and we can ride smoothly and its performance is good and easy to handle but the person who is sitting back doesn't have good comfort and service is good & fast and bike is reasonable rate around 235000

must year helmet& shoes while riding and mileage is good you can get around 35 kmpl

Overall experience is good. Bike provides awesome pickup. Suspension is awesome. For long rides it is awesome for driver but rear seat is not that much comfortable for long rides as one should expect. Service centres are few which is another drawback but they provide 24*7 road assistance. Power is better than Thunderbird 350. Looks are awesome , eye catching. I would prefer this bike to everyone over royal enfield.

More than 1 year with my renegade commando and loving it. Had bullet but this bike has higher top speed, no vibrations, more power and more comfortable ride. Heating is normal in water cooled bikes with radiator and people who upgrade for air-cooling don't get this. I had one issue with battery and they replaced free of cost., dealer has given good service and company has given warranty, its new company in India but they are giving response and value that. No comparison on looks, with any bike out there in price range. Re became layman bike, everybody in town riding same thing.

I bought um renegade classic last year i. E. May 18. Substandard product, not at all worth for whatever we payNo service centre within range. It takes min 3 days for each servicing. Crom is substandard, rusting within month need to go for replacement. Pickup is very poor, need to change clutch plate within 6 month from the time i bought it. Can't drive this vehicle for regular commute as it gets heated very quickly and start losing pickup. List is too long for the amount we spent bike has to be worth. Um quoting very much high price for this segment. I strongly recommend no for um vehicle.

I have purchased um renegade commando in march. It looks awesome. It's very comfortable for long drives. Mileage is good enough. I got an average 30kmpl in bangalore city traffic and 32kmpl on highway.

Pros:

Looks, mileage, comfort,..

Cons:

Engine overheats, price, service

It's better than royal enfield in many aspects.
