Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR: What else can you buy

Kawasaki India launched the Ninja ZX-10RR in India last week with an incredible price tag of Rs 16.10 lakh. Give or take Rs 1 lakh from that price tag, and the Indian market offers an array of motorcycles in different body styles. Here is the list of options you could look around the cost of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

The only supersport motorcycle in this list is the MV Agusta F3 800. At the heart of the bike is a 798cc, inline three-cylinder engine that produces 146bhp and 88Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 16.31 lakh. The manufacturer also has a streetfighter on offer, the Brutale 800. It uses a 798cc, in-line three engine similar to the F3 800 although with a different power output. It produces 107bhp and 83Nm of torque. The MV Agusta Brutale 800 retails at Rs 15.59 lakh.

You could also have the Kawasaki Z1000 which costs 15.10 lakh. Powering the bike is a 1043cc, in-line four engine that churns out 139bhp and 111Nm of torque. Another bike in a streetfighter body style is the BMW S 1000 R; a streetfighter based on the S1000 RR. The bike is powered by a 999cc in-line four cylinder engine that produces 162bhp and 112 Nm of torque. It is priced at Rs 16.30 lakh.

BMW also offers modern-classic motorcycles like the R Nine T Scrambler and R Nine T Racer. While the former costs Rs 15.40 lakh, the latter is priced at Rs 16.50 lakh. Both bikes use a 1170cc, boxer-twin engine that produces 110bhp and 116Nm of torque. There also is the Kawasaki Z900 RS with a modern-retro appeal. It is powered by a 948cc, in-line four cylinder engine which produces 108bhp and 98Nm of torque. The bike is priced at Rs 15.30 lakh.

The list includes four adventure touring motorcycles. You could have the R 1200 GS and R 1200 GS Adventure priced at Rs 15.70 and 17.10 lakh respectively. The bikes are powered by a 1170cc boxer-twin engine that generates 124bhp of power and 125Nm of torque. Triumph has the Tiger 1200 with a price tag of Rs 17.10 lakh. The bike uses a 1200cc, in-line three cylinder engine that churns out 139bhp and 122Nm of torque. The recently launched Ducati Multistrada 1260 is priced at Rs 15.99 lakh. It uses a 1262cc, L-twin engine that puts out 153bhp and 129Nm of torque.

Ducati also brings two power cruisers to the table; the Diavel and XDiavel. The Diavel uses a 1200cc Testastretta L-Twin engine that produces 160bhp and 130Nm of torque. The XDiavel on the other hand, is powered by a 1262cc, L-twin engine that puts out 153bhp and 129Nm of torque. While the Diavel retails at Rs 16.10 lakh, the XDiavel will cost you Rs 16.48 lakh. Suzuki also offers a cruiser in the form of the Intruder M1800R. It uses a 1783cc, V-Twin engine that produces 127bhp and maximum torque of 160Nm. The Intruder M1800R retails at a price of Rs 16.04 lakh.
