The model was Duke 200 BS3, at that time It was very eye-catching as well as unique look wise bike ever it was, and the riding position of this bike was very comfortable and you could ride it for a long drive I have almost completed many trips with this bike and it never disappoints, and in city riding it is always better then other bikes, now at look wise it is too much beautiful machine and its performance is absolutely out to stand throttling it feels like you are on the bullet train, now about servicing, I have done my service at every 4k to 5k kilometers and service cost are medium depending on any major problems are in bike otherwise almost service will be done under 3000rs spare parts are costly as 200 cc segment bike some parts are too much costlyNow pros and Cons1) bike is very good for students, and daily Rider's2) mileage is very good in the city as well as highway fuel efficient than other 200cc bike3) bike pickup is very good,4) The breaking system and well as suspension are working very smoothly and never feel any problem on jerky roadsCons1) bike service cost is a little bit higher2) The bike has a heating issue in summer bike radiator fan is blowing in traffic rapidly3 costly spare parts

Here are some insights from user and expert reviews of the KTM Duke 200: Pros Powerful and responsive engineExcellent power-to-weight ratioGood for off-roadingSharp and aggressive appearanceDual-channel ABSCutting-edge technologyEnjoyable riding experienceCons Relatively high price tagThe engine requires hard revs to extract its maximum potentialMaintenance is a bit highSome say that the Duke 200 is one of the most thrilling bikes you can buy today and that it's worth the investment for the quality and performance you get. Others say that the bike has minor issues, but that these are dwarfed by the number of things that it does well.

A long term ownership review

This is an ownership review after I spent 2 yrs 9 mo with my 2020 BS6 KTM 200 Duke, 26k km on ODO. I had an extraordinary experience with my motorcycle. The biggest highlights are a 1000 km day from Kolkata to Lucknow during my 2022 Ladakh trip; Kolkata to Kalimpong, a 668 km trip in a day and back a couple of days later. Several 200-500km day trips with effortless performance. No major repairs or services other than the regular oil change etc. Received an ECU update. I suggest owners to upgrading to H-rated tires for better performance. Halogen lights will heat up and melt if you tend to ride long and nonstop like I do. But now you have LED options. As you become a better rider, would be able to unlock more performance. I do feel the need for a 390 but still can't stop loving my 200. Duke 390 might be a pocket rocket in Europe and America, but in India, I think the 200 Duke is the real pocket rocket - it'll easily blast out all the newer 300-400 cc machines out there. Please don't add unnecessary accessories, it's for the Showers. For performers, I suggest getting rid of the trail tidy, saree guard, and rear tire hugger and making it 5 kg lighter. Run on lean fuel if possible.
