Disregard the reviews of people who just went for the looks(I don't mean that it have some problems in the looks, it really looks so good,it looks dashing actually), But this machine is made for the people who just ride for the joy of motorcycling, for the speed, for the aggressiveness, for the revvs and for the curves and for the forgotten reason for motorcycles to actually exist, THE FUN.
The performance is just awesome and the initial really throws the bike like a jet going supersonic, and the beast come out after 5000 rpm and adding with the low weight, we can say that Vitpilen really takes control of us and just flies. Cornering is so damn good on this beast cause of the of clip-ons, And along with WP apex suspension, it's just good. Slipper clutch is just meant for the enthusiasts, cause when you are coming to the curve with all that aggressiveness, you know you need it. LIKE I SAID, THIS MOTORCYCLE IS FUN!!
Normie boys who just go for this wonderful machine for the looks of it, please stay back. Cause you guys will come later complaining about backpains and stuff. You guys should know this machine is not for touring or your boring daily commute, well it can be used for both (but not recommended) but that is not the point, when you buy a machine for the joy of Motorcycling, you actually develop a bond with the machine and it's aggressiveness, you just don't complain about backpains because you and the machine is ONE the moment you climb on to it and that is why Vitpilen 250 is not recommended for normies.
Vitpilen 250 definitely have an excellent ROAD PRESENCE. And the KISKA design really did a good deal on this machine. So many eyes, on both roads, as well as on Streets, really take a second to look at this magnificent piece of art.
Yeah the pillion comfort is not upto the point but who cares about that, if you want a chill ride with your girlfriend in the back, this is not the motorcycle for you(unless your girlfriend is thin and not much heavy, but still you shouldn't buy unless you are really an enthusiast.) The Ground clearance is low but again, WHO CARES!! This machine belongs to the country roads and highways boys.
The first two services are completed on my Vitpilen and each service cost me under 2000 rupees. If you take the motorcycle to a very good KTM service center then it's all good.
If you take care of your bike, the bike takes care of you. So that means you really have to take care of your bike but it's no big deal considering the people who buy these bikes doesn't really consider maintenance as a big work.
So this is an excellent choice for the people who really have the spirit of riding. A cafe racer in a budget.

  • I love my husky

    Soumyadeepta Roy

I bought my husky last week and to be honest its explosive performance makes you rev it.The looks gonna make you a celebrity, from petrol pumps to road everyone gonna notice.I left my bike for 20 min to buy a helmet and when i got back there was 5 guy looking at it touching it...Its hyderabad hitech city i am talking about, people got super bikes here still this bike gets enough attention to make you proud.Exhaust sounds decent nothing crazy about that but engine of duke 250 is all crazy linear start and the punch in middle makes your ride really awesome.I took a ride of 70 km on the very next day i bought it, i won't say it was comfortable i was feeling a bit pain in my right shoulder.Though you cannot expect a clip-on handlebars to make you comfy in long rides but let me tell you the cornering was lovely... You just get so confident about it and bike just grabs the road such nicely.Though the petrol tank make me unhappy about it but again this ain't made for touring and then you are welcome to India and you can tour with any bike here no matter what and for that reason you have to carry a lot of fuel with you in bags...You can add the bag rack of swartpilen in vitpilen but this gonna make your ride tough as handling would not be as its meant to be.If we talk about mileage its 25 for me...And to be honest i wanted more mileage...Atleast around 40 as one of my friend with classic 350 getting 40 kmpl and i guess it gonna get better after 1st service though you cannot ask for more when the engine looks and features are of this level.Seat height is too much so 5'7" guys you are lucky because you just got cutoff height... Above 5'7" this is for you....I expected more ground clearance too...Cant help it though. I forgot to talk about brakes... Rare is awesome and front is just amazing, nice feedback abs won't hit until required, just awesome.P.S. You are not superman nor this bike is perfect but its worth buying and have a test ride you gonna love it.

  • Best among cafe racer bikes in India

    Daniel Bonaventure Raj A

I was very eager to get the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 (well waited for the test ride which took a long time due to covid @ Ktm showroom adyar), it was having a unique presence and was simple yet dynamic with the given features.
When I took my husky for a test ride I felt pure power and performance on the roads and it was very easy to take sharp turns and cuts in the traffic, the riding experience was very exciting and it made me feel good. This bike is very underestimated by many people who see this bike as a compact or small bike, but the reality is it has been good according to me. Shorter than 6ft riders can also be able to ride this bike without any issues.
Well i got my Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 this month and yeah i am waiting to get my service and would be sharing it here later(asap).I feel this bike is easy to clean and maintain than getting any enfield or Jawa type of bikes... So this cafe racer is one of the best in India till now because of its fuel efficiency than other cafe racers.
My bike is currently giving a mileage around 32-33km/litre.
    Pros
1)this bike is value for money... According to power and performance.
2)Super Moto mode helps to rev more higher and it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable while riding at high-speed.
3)gear shifting and engine is really smooth with the min vibration of riding on high rpm makes you feel like you are in cloud nine.
4)having a decent cluster set and premium badging on the vehicle
    Cons
1)i feel that this bike should have more accessories and rider equipment's like Yamaha and re.
2)could have given different colour options.
3)try to increase new features like navigation and charging usb ports and mobile connectivity.
4)should try to improvise the play store app of Husqvarna better like the ktm application which shows the performance and distance of the vehicle and having the documents attached together about the next services and trips taken.

I thought it buying when seen its pics online, it seems to be unique looks compared to all other bikes. The bike comes with good riding position. The only cons is that the pillion comfort, other than everything is perfect. I bought it just 2 weeks ago and ridden only 400km and the 1st service is still not done yet.

  • Just a quick review about the grey arrow.

    Aaryan Arun

I loved this bike the first time I saw it and to my luck I was looking to purchase a new motorcycle and I knew it had to be this or a duke 390. Well I laid off the duke 390 first of all because for a college student it was unnecessary consumption of fuel and waste of money so I went over to the Huskys. I test rode both ,the Svartpilen and the Vitpilen, although I agree the svartpilen is more practical, the Vitpilen just stole my heart ,the way the bike leans the way it handles the power even though its just a 250cc, it just took me along and from my day of purchase till now never has she made me regret my decision of picking the Vitpilen . My only issue with the bike until now has been the tyres. Now this is just my personal opinion but I feel the stock tyres don't do justice to the performance and handling. About looks I need not say anything. This motorcycle looks a class apart from any 250cc motorcycle and man she is a head turner for sure I literally just need to get into traffic and people go like crazy. Now talking about maintenance its cheap according to me its just like maintaining any other 250/400cc bike .
Pros of the bike are :1. Bike stands out,2. Plenty of power so you don't get bored. 3. Handles like a dream.
Cons of the bike are : 1. Not comfortable so do not go for this if you plan on touring or travelling if you are a enthusiastic biker like me it wouldn't be a issue but otherwise do not go for it if you want comfort, 2. Fuel tank capacity is low. 3. Tyres could have been better stock tyres don't justify the bike.

Ground clearance will be a problem sometimes with pillion.
    Good performance - i clocked 160 km/h.
    Maintainance same as duke 250.
Mileage will improve after 2 services.
In city 27 to 30 and on highways 30 to 35
In my opinion its a great choice when compared to duke 250 - has good performance, looks, but will not get very comfort as of duke.
Husky is more like a raw bike.

Excellent design by the engineers who ever designed it.Like its combustion arrangement and engine performance is quite out of the box.... Especially the colour is mind blowing. It gives a grand look without bulky arrangements on it. Best suitable for all thin and guys who hates fat soul bikes... Simply fabulous bike i have ever seen in my life.

    Mohamed Irshath

One of the good-looking and high-performance bikes under 2.5lakhs. It is suitable for college students and bachelors, I achieved a top speed of 158 on this bike, and my bike mileage was 30 in the city and highway 33 I think so, it has the same engine as ktm duke 250 but it gives better performance then ktm duke 250 because Vitpilen 250 is lighter then duke 250.

I have been using this bike for more than 2.5 years for daily commutes. Almost 20,000 km completed till now. It's very fun to ride a motorcycle.
Pros are its powerful engine and mesmerizing looks,
The top speed is 155+ I have only tried it once.
The only con is that it is not for long rides. It hurts your back a bit.

  • Made just for the Enthusiasts

    Ebey Tom
