Hero Xpulse 200 vs Yezdi Adventure

I have always had my eyes on Vikrant’s Xpulse 200 long termer. And there's a reason; I had been desperately waiting to get my hands on the rally suspension for my own Xpulse 200 and since the day Vikrant installed this after-market kit on his Xpulse, I just couldn't help but find ways to borrow it from him.

In the previous report, we introduced you to the extremely well thought-out rally kit from Hero for the Xpulse 200. Now, we have installed the first few bits of that kit to our Xpulse 200.

The Adventure is the most expensive Yezdi one can buy in India, and the reason for this is the segment it belongs to. The adventure touring segment in the country is booming, and many young Indians want to get out of their mundane life and explore the breathtaking scenery and rural parts of the country. To do this, there’s a need for a motorcycle that can take care of the comfort and luggage and also allow the rider to go to places that standard bikes can’t go. Such bikes don’t come cheap as they are engineered to take a lot of beatings from Mother Nature. Plus, this bike also has to be an all-rounder because, like it or not, weekdays are when the bike will be used as a commuter, and on the weekends, it should transform into an explorer.

There’s a new rival to the segment leader the Royal Enfield Himalayan – it is called the Yezdi Adventure and it is the most expensive Yezdi motorcycle on sale in India currently. It is priced at Rs 2.48 lakh on-road Mumbai and that makes little affordable than the Himalayan.
