User Review of Chetak by Ashwin Singh

The safety of the Rider is missing because of less road grip because of tyres and heavy battery weight which is positioned at the centre making it unsafe especially. On wet roads and bumpy or potholes roads, there is every chance of vehicle skidding or imbalance. I had a very bad experience thrice on this vehicle. Once riding my spouse on a wet road at a speed of 20 to 30kmph and twice driving at speed ( bumpy road and wet road). I request to Bajaj chetak R&D team to make this vehicle more user-friendly to increase your sales and our experience for life long....

The showroom people at arun automobiles khmla give worst experience of buying the scooter. I doubt if they would give any service after selling the scooter... i will buy TVS Iqube. These people are hopekess and need no buisiness. They are like... we have sample customers... we dont need you... this is their attitude

Not receive detailed information at the time of buying. 90 km range is good, but the display has an issue, the glass breaks with a small hit of a tennis ball. The entire display assembly required to change then. Service ceny has long waiting for repair, it takes more than one month. Meantime if any other issue if there, your insurance will be denied because already your 1st claim is pending.

Very heavy for ladies , riding experience is good , buying experience was good , but struggling to get dates for servicing , getting dates after 20-30 days .in one year Battery went off twice , key was not working . After sales service issues .

Wen I purchased dealer told me that it will average around 100 km but it doesn't give more than 60 km very disappointment secondly for 2 times in a month battery got dead and locked now the service station not giving proper treatment and been waiting for more than 2 days in their service station waiting and waiting

1.Buying Experience is horrible the Staffs Will behave so rudely sometime
2.Riding experience of Chetak Premium Is so Punchy and powerful Every time you accelerate u will be happy Initial Is so damn good Mid is also powerful and punchy but top end is average
3.Performance is Just Awesome Once i Rided it with 3 pillions (160kg in total)on an slight uphill it perfomed so well 4.5/10
LOOKS Are the USP of chetak its damn Beautiful
4.servicing is the negetive point of this vehicle mainly service centres are limited and they are able to deliver vehicle sooner in case but they will charge extra fees for it secondly in some works they will not fix the problem corectly u have to revisit service centre again 2/5(ratings)
Maintainance is almost negligible Only some minor maintainance will be there
5.Good Looks,Feels Solid,Punchy Drive experience (solo and pillion also)storage spaces ,paint quality ,uphill performance is good ,range (95-100)kmin one charge
Cons.weight,some minor problems

They promised fame ii subsidy on August 2023, till date they have not managed to pay the subsidy after almost 100 calls they are not responding to me , they never followed government guidelines for subsidy so they should have been clear on this but they did open fraud of promising an don't forwarding my vehicle for subsidy

First of all, there is no service centre in Mumbai, only one service centre in Vasai and they are asking for 14000 to change the wiring who thinks it is fair this is the worst bike ever got it's not worth buying it then if the service centre is looting this much and there is no from company to connect on this worst?
