Hero Electric Photon Summary
Hero Electric is one of the leading electric two wheeler makers in the country. The brand offers a wide range of models that are manufactured in Ludhiana, Punjab. Amongst its newer range of model is the new electric scooter called Photon.
The new Photon is a high speed electric scooter which features two drive modes: Power and Economy. The former mode allows the scooter to attain a top speed of 45kmph which is fairly decent considering the competition.
As for economy, Hero says the new Photon can cover up to 50 km on full charge when using Power model. However, the more efficient Economy mode claims an even higher range of 80 km on full charge. Standard features on the Photon include a polycarbonate head lamp for clear night vision, front telescopic suspension, a front disc brake and an anti-theft alarm.
Unlike a few other models in its class, the new Photon requires its rider to have a license and complete registration for the two wheeler. The Photon is now available on sale in tree colours – black, burgundy, white.

Amazing electric Scooter riding

I feel amazing while riding this electric Scooter.Its pick-up is so cool without any noise.There is so much comfort in the seating.There is no need to spend on fuel. This is so cheap in comparison to a petrol scooter or bike.Its charging is also too fast in comparison to other electric scooters. All I say this Scooter experience is excellent rather to others.

Looks ok but the performance is not good It is 2.5 years old now its battery is dead, and it gives a range of 20 km And the worst behavior of showroom sellers after selling 4. The service given by the hero is not good5. No prons only cons money waste

I purchased this photon 2 years back. In 1st year it worked properly the battery was not working then I approached to company they said it would take a maximum of 60 days to get a new battery because it is under warranty. But today 10 months completed, the battery has not come Dealer said that there is no progress in the company and told to file a case with the company but every consumer does not have much time for these petitions So very worst service please don't purchase these scooter. You can also try to contact the consumer care helpline for inquiries or complaints you will come with no response.

Reliability issues with the bike, construction quality is very poor, and they used substandard materials to design the bike. As electric scooters are new in the market so maintenance issue is also there, and spare parts are also not available on time, my suggestion to each and every viewer please don't buy this scooter it's a completely waste of money.

I used my friends bike. In future i will definitely purchase hero e bikes. Excellent in mileage. Speed 60 kms. Pickup in 7 seconds. Eco friendly. No pollution. Good future of e bikes in India hero bikes trust of 70% Indians. Dynamic looks, maintenance cost is lower than fuel bikes. Monthly cost of e bike is rs.800 & petrol bike cost was rs. 3500 of if daily ride 50 kms.

Electric bikes and scooters are the future of mobility. Skyrocketing fuel prices are forcing people to consider more practical alternatives such as electric bikes and cars. With a great range of electric bikes and electric scooters in India by popular automakers like hero electric, Bajaj auto, tvs motors and amo electric bikes and more homegrown brands indicates it's a good time to switch to electric for a greener environment.

Forget about petrol rates and ride like unique ones

For me its best for for riding smooth. No petrol, free of cost and pollution free ..I personally use it daily for going to market and little bit and sometimes also went to city for long run with my scooty.. Great performance till now and i always enjoyed it while driving it.

Best electric vehicle

I bought this scooter in November 20 in Jabalpur (MP). My daily commute is around 30-35 kms. With the speed and pickup, there is no compromise when compared to other petrol heads.The top speed is 55 km/h, and battery lasts for around 85 kms.This vehicle is very light to ride, weighing just 87 kg.Suspension and balancing of the vehicle is good. Just as other scooters.Charging of the vehicle takes 4 hours for a full charge and around 1.5 units (around Rs.12)Looks of the vehicle is just awesome, this is an eye turner for everyone. Everyday 3 to 5 strangers asks about the performance, pricing and praise the vehicle.Servicing and maintenance is more or less nil.3 years warranty on battery and motor.

Avoid hero electric and its dealers like the plague!The product breaks down within months and then no one responds. By no one I mean literally they will not pick up your calls. Terrible post-sales service. Let's call it non-existent. Only buy if you can fix electric vehicles on your own. Else let it be.

Bad batteries ; no resolution

The services of hero electric bikes is terrible.Even company officials are least bothered to resolve the problem.After a lot of follow-ups, just lip service.Horrible experience.Batteries are replaced within 10 days of purchase.Charging issues.After that within a month, batteries swelled.Replaced again with a faulty battery in 45days follow-up. Again batteries give charging problems and drainage problems.Chasing them for the last 45 days now. No resolution.
