TVS designed its Max 4R in order to cater to the utility motorcycle segment which is yet to gain importance in the Indian two wheeler market. The Max 4R is India’s first motorcycle with four rear shock absorbers designed for heavy duty usage on a daily basis.
Powering the Max 4R is a 110cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. This four stroke engine which is mated to a 4-speed gearbox offers 8.4 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. While the front suspension is a conventional telescopic oil-damped unit, the rear consists of a 2-step adjustable hydraulic unit and additional shocks for carrying extra load.
The Max 4R gets a mobile charging unit, adjustable headlamp, a detachable seat and special tyres with stronger spokes.
TVS is offering the Max 4R in two variants and two colour options – the Max 4R L with a regular seat and the Max 4R with split seat, both in either black or red colour shades.
