PURE EV Scooters

PURE EV is an electric two-wheeler manufacturing company which originated from the campus of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad. One of the main objectives of the company is to utilise sustainable energy sources, and that’s why the name PURE which stands for Power Using Renewable Energy. Besides electric two-wheelers, PURE EV also produces lithium-ion batteries and has a research facility based out of IIT Hyderabad campus.

Currently, PURE EV has six models in its portfolio comprising of three electric scooters - EPluto 7G, EPluto, and ETrance+. It also has an electric step-through called the ETrance and two e-bikes – Egnite and ETron+. As is the case with most of the EVs in the Indian market, all these products are mainly focused at urban commuting with their top speed going up to 60kmph. However, PURE EV offers an impressive range around 90-120kmph with its top-spec EPluto 7G scooter.
