The EPluto 7G is the flagship electric scooter from PURE EV - an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer based out of Hyderabad. The company originated from the campus of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Hyderabad where it has set up its research facility. Besides EVs, the brand also produces lithium-ion batteries.
The EPluto 7G is a high-speed electric scooter with a top speed of 60kmph and quite an impressive full-battery range of around 90-120kms. Propelling the scooter is a 1.5kW nominal and a 2.2kW peak BLDC motor powered by a 60V 2.5kWh portable battery. Meanwhile, the rated gradeability of the EPLuto 7G is 12 degrees which is typical of an electric scooter.
The design of the EPluto 7G closely resembles the Vespa models and the new Bajaj Chetak with a round headlamp, chrome-finished mirrors, plush body panels, and swooping lines all over. The feature list is just about average with things like an LCD display, an LED headlamp, anti-theft provision with a smart lock, and regenerative braking. It rides on 10-inch alloy wheels suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock while speed is shed by a disc-drum combination.
Considering its price tag of Rs 79,999, the PURE EV EPluto 7G competes against the likes of the Okinawa Praise and the Ampere Magnus Pro.

Smooth Ride and Efficient Range

I’ve been riding the ePluto 7G MAX for over 4 months and it continues to impress me. The 90 km range on a full charge easily covers my daily commute without any anxiety. What I love most is the smooth, vibration-free ride, which makes navigating through traffic a breeze. Charging overnight fits perfectly into my routine, and it’s very pocket-friendly—my charging costs are almost negligible now.

Excellent Ride Quality and Control

The ePluto 7G has impressed me with its stability and ride comfort. Whether I'm riding alone or with a pillion, it doesn’t wobble or feel underpowered. The handlebar positioning and seat cushioning are well designed for long city rides. The mirrors provide good rear visibility, and the lights are bright enough for night rides. Even during monsoon, the scooter handles well and feels safe. It’s a good EV choice for people looking for comfort, control, and overall practicality.

I bought this bike recently after seeing reviews on YouTube and other platforms. One of the worst scooters ever, within 1 week I got back pain and disc bulge, I am staying in Hyderabad and the road is average, still that I got several problems, whenever I hit a small bump it's like hitting my own neck and spine with a huge hammer blow.Don't even go near the showrooms, they are frauds.

Initially, it gave 100km for single charge for 6 months but later on decreased to 40-50km per charge in 2years, frequently tripping of mcb happened, poor suspension and now after 15000km ride, it is giving just 10 - 20 km/charge..The amount for which I bought and the performance it is giving is below par ..now to spend around 40k fir a new battery is not advisable.

A bike that made by dad believe in EVs
Rahul Shinde
But after using it for a month, he can't stop speaking about how wonderful the bike is! He rides it for small chores and visiting temples, which is around 15 km a day. He charges it every week. The reason that there's no gear or kickstart is that it makes it so simple for him to ride. And no clutch means less strain on his hands. He adores the blue color we chose. It's restored his enthusiasm for riding — and now he encourages all his friends to purchase one too!

Quick Resolution for My Battery Issue
Aurelia
I had an issue with the battery once, but it was promptly addressed by the service center. As soon as I contacted them, they were quick to solve the issue, and the problem was solved with little inconvenience. The customer support was great—professional and responsive—and it really gave me a lot of faith in the company. It's not common to find a firm that acts so promptly and makes sure that their customers' issues are treated with respect.

I think They don't have the technology for the battery. The Battery died after 1 year and they charged around Rs. 7,000/- for some Idm upgrades. And after another year the battery is dead again. Now they want to charge Rs. 30,000/- for new battery.Should I pay for your mistakes? Is it fair?I would not recommend it to anyone I know.
