The ETrance Neo is Pure EV’s most powerful electric scooter. With a claimed range of around 120kms, this e-scooter is being positioned as an urban scooter that won’t be a part of scooters with range anxiety issues.
The ETrance Neo gets a 2.5kWH lithium battery and a BLDC motor that helps power this e-scooter. The battery is portable which means the rider can remove it and take it home to charge it. The company claims a top speed of 60kmph and has a 150kg load bearing capacity. In terms of features, this e-scooter gets a decent list. It gets a four-inch LCD display, regenerative braking, LED headlight and anti-theft smart lock.
Currently, this company has an extremely small presence in the country. So there’s hardly any sales dealership for this brand. That means, acquiring the ETrance Neo is going to be a difficult affair.

Quality Issues & Safety Concerns – Pure EV Etrans (2021)
Srinivasan K
I purchased the Pure EV Etrans in 2021 as an early adopter. Despite maintaining it perfectly and only using it for local trips (only 1,000 km driven to date), the build quality has been a major disappointment.Electrical Failures: Within just one year, the electrical connections weakened. The lights do not work unless I manually shake the switch—a serious safety hazard at night.Poor Material Quality: The plastic platform has become extremely brittle and is literally falling apart. The iron rails are now exposed, and I’ve had to resort to tying the platform together with rope just to keep the vehicle functional. Even the logo of the vehicle is made out of low grade plastic, a part of it is broken.Corrosion: The shocks and wheels are rusting rapidly, affecting the control and ride quality of the scooter. Dont get this vehicles for your children to go to school or college. Elderly, definitely dont buy.I paid ₹55,000 as an introductory price, but given that the scooter is disintegrating with such low mileage, it is simply not worth the investment. I would advise potential buyers to be cautious about the long-term durability of the materials used in these models.I dont find any service stations for this vehicle now to restore.

I got the ETrance Neo+ for my daughter, and it's been a great choice. The scooter is light, compact, and incredibly easy to handle, making it ideal for her daily college commutes. She rides through narrow city lanes without any trouble, and the smooth performance gives me peace of mind. It’s both practical and safe—perfect for young riders just starting out.

I’ve been using the ETrance Neo for a few months now, and honestly, it’s been a great decision. The scooter gives exactly what I was looking for, low maintenance, almost no daily running costs, and a stylish design that actually turns heads. It’s perfect for city rides and daily commutes without worrying about rising fuel prices. What I like the most is how smooth it feels on the road. The ride is steady, comfortable, and really easy to handle in traffic. It’s lightweight, so even in crowded areas or while parking, it doesn’t feel like a task. The battery performance is good too, it easily covers my everyday travel distance, and I just charge it once in two or three days.Another thing that impressed me is the design. The ETrance Neo looks compact yet modern, with a nice finish that gives it a premium touch. I’ve had a few people stop and ask about it because it looks different from regular scooters. The best part is how much I save every month. There’s no petrol cost, no oil changes, and barely any servicing needed. It’s not just easy on the pocket but also eco-friendly, which makes me feel good about using it.Overall, the ETrance Neo is a great value-for-money electric scooter. It’s perfect for someone who wants a practical, stylish, and affordable option for daily use. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about switching to an EV — it’s reliable, smooth, and makes everyday travel so much simpler.

Compact Yet Comfortable

Even though the scooter is compact in size, PURE EV has done a great job of ensuring that comfort isn’t sacrificed. The seat is wide and cushioned enough to comfortably accommodate two adults without feeling cramped. What impressed me most is the suspension—it absorbs bumps and rough patches quite well, offering a surprisingly smooth and plush ride for a scooter in this category.

Lightweight but Durable

Despite its lightweight frame, the ETrance Neo feels surprisingly sturdy and well-built. I often ride with a heavy backpack or bags full of groceries, and it handles the extra load without any wobble or strain. The balance and control remain solid, even on uneven city roads. It strikes the perfect balance between portability and durability, making it an ideal choice for everyday urban use.

Despite its compact size, the ETrance Neo delivers a surprisingly peppy performance. It picks up speed quickly making it perfect for weaving through traffic and navigating tight city lanes. The acceleration feels responsive, and it s ideal for short commutes, quick errands or running between classes or meetings. A solid choice for anyone looking for a zippy reliable city scooter.

So I will not right any time taking paragraph to be honest this scooter is not that good. Riding posture is a bit uncomfortable especially on the handles and after 20 km driving after full charge there is a ig impact on performance and mainly the double stand always hit at road after a bump .boot space is too small barely fit anything not even a helmet buying experience was good to be honest but they didn't give any helmet the only good thing in the scooty is that I can drive 80 km in a cost of a single ruppe that is great . Overall vehicle is nice and good looking good for only 1 person but with 2 person the acceleration is very slow and during a slight climb it cannot climb it with full potential

This scooty is not even have a standard quality, high spare parts price with cheap quality. Customer service agents won't even respond properly if scooty has a major issue. The mileage is very low and it has had many battery issues. The company itself is not giving a proper response to clients. In my opinion, don't buy this product; it would be a waste of money.

My ev ETrance Neo is new. In the second month, it started having so many problems that it has been lying in the Udaipur Rajasthan showroom for 3 months and the company is not even providing service. Please do not buy such a bike. While the vehicle is still under warranty. When we went to the showroom to ask why our bike was having such a problem, the showroom people behaved very rudely with us and we were not being given any kind of service nor were we being put in touch with the company. We even met them but we are not getting any kind of response, whereas the vehicle is still under guarantee and warranty.
