Yamaha Nmax 155

Yamaha Nmax 155 is expected to launch in India in March 2026 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,60,000 to ₹ 1,70,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Nmax 155 are Simple Energy One Gen 2, Vespa S 150 & Vespa 150. Another bike similar to Nmax 155 is Yamaha EC-06 which is launching in February 2026 in India.

The Yamaha Nmax 155 is a maxi scooter that is based on the Aerox 155 platform. In many ways, it is the practical and more family-oriented option to the focused and sporty Aerox.

The Yamaha Nmax 155 looks like a proper maxi-scooter, the kind that rolls on the streets from Europe to Thailand. This is a large scooter and its size is accentuated by the wide front apron which accommodates the twin LED headlights. A tall, blacked-out windscreen sits above the headlight, adding to the tall stance of the scooter. From the side, the central spine grabs attention and so does the neatly designed side and tail section.

The Nmax 155 has a decent set of features, which includes all-LED lights, remote boot release, and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The scooter sold in India might get a dual-channel ABS setup too.

A 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine powers the Nmax 155. It produces 14.9bhp and 13.5Nm and is paired with a CVT. This engine is an absolute gem; we’ve seen it in the Yamaha R15 and the Aerox 155. It is refined, rev-happy, and fuel-efficient as well.

The scooter has an underbone chassis suspended by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. It rides on 13-inch wheels at either end and as far as braking is concerned, the scooter has a disc brake at either end.

The Yamaha Nmax 155 is expected to be launched by the end of this year or in the beginning of 2025. It may be priced at around the Rs. 1.6 lakh to Rs. 1.7 lakh mark.
