Suzuki Motorcycle India has entered the quarter-litre motorcycle segment by launching the Gixxer SF 250. Priced at Rs 1.7 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi, it is the newest offering to roll out of Suzuki’s stable. We have ridden the motorcycle at the Buddh International Circuit and you can read the First Ride Review here. Marketed as a sports tourer, Suzuki has revealed a list of accessories that will soon be available enabling customers to customise their motorcycles. Here’s the list
The Gixxer SF 250 is available in two matte metallic colour schemes. In order to prevent the painted surfaces from getting scratched, the company has designed a tank protector for the same. The protector should also provide additional grip to hold onto the bike by the fuel tank.
While Suzuki has kept the overall design of the motorcycle uncluttered by skipping the use of decals, customers can, however, have a tank graphic installed on the fuel tank. The tank graphic will additionally help to prevent any scratches on the fuel tank.
Wheel rim sticker
In order to give a dash of highlight to the single-tone matte metallic colour scheme of the motorcycle, one can have a contrasting fluorescent yellow wheel rim sticker installed to accentuate the bike’s appeal.
12V DC socket
This accessory allows one to charge electronic devices like mobile phone or GPS unit while on the move. The socket is located on the right clip-on handlebar in order to provide ease of convenience.
The Gixxer SF 250 features a split-seat design which offers lower back support for the rider and slightly raised seating for the pillion. Suzuki has designed seat covers with stitches along the edges that can be installed on existing seats. It features a Suzuki emblem present on the side of the pillion seat. The covers will also prolong the overall life of the seat.
The Gixxer SF 250 comes factory-fitted with a clear windscreen which can be replaced with a smoked one which will help in further accentuating the bike's design.
Suzuki is likely to price the accessories affordably and they will soon be available to buyers.
