Bajaj Pulsar models receive price hike of up to Rs 4,000

- Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic and Neon have received the highest price hike

- Hike for other Pulsar models is around Rs 1000

- Reason for the hike is rationalisation of pricing

With various manufacturers hiking the prices of their two-wheelers lately, Bajaj has also joined the bandwagon. 

The company has increased the prices of all the Pulsar models by around Rs 1000. However, for the most affordable models in the family including the Pulsar 150 Classic and Neon, the price hike stands at Rs 4000. What’s worth noting is that the Chakan-based bikemaker has also increased the price of its cruiser range including the Avenger 220 Street and Cruise along with the 160 Street. What’s more, the most significant hike has been witnessed by the brand’s flagship model, the Dominar 400, by as much as Rs 10,000. 

The reason for the aforementioned hike is the brand’s intention to rationalise the pricing. Notably, Pulsar is the most popular line-up in Bajaj’s portfolio which the company recently expanded by introducing the 125 Neon. The motorcycle features the same butch styling of its 150cc sibling while being powered by a 124.4cc, carbureted motor which churns out 11.8bhp and 11Nm. The motorcycle has been launched at Rs 66,618 and it is not yet a part of the price hike.
