The Mahindra Duro is one of the few scooters in Indian market to have a 125 cc engine. The Duro has been on sale for a few years now. It was upgraded a while ago with a new variant called the Duro DZ. The Mahindra Duro, with loads of space, offers practicality combined with respectable performance and a competitive price.

The design of the Duro is similar to the Kinetic Nova and is quite uninspiring, with more emphasis on practicality. It gets a big six litre fuel rank, a large underseat storage as well as a glove compartment under the handlebar. The seats are big and supportive and offer a comfortable ride. The high set handlebar feature a large traditional analogue instrument cluster.

The Mahindra Duro is powered by a four-stroke 124.6cc engine which produces 8bhp and 9Nm of torque, through a variator controlled, automatic gearbox. The Duro gets both self and kick-start and drum brakes on both wheels. The Mahindra Duro is available in four paint schemes - Derby Red, Bolt Black, White and Magenta.

We have bought mahindra duro over five years ago and we've regretted buying it ever since.

Firstly, the accelerator in duro works different from other bikes, it accelerates rapidly for just a little rise, it's too difficult to travel at a speed less than forty kmph.

The engine had always been noisy no matter how many times we repair it. A new problem arises with it every now and then like a problem with the lights, or having trouble starting, the back seat lock's parts broke frequently, the screws at several places have come apart, the stands have misaligned, the kick rod stopped working, the accelerator grip has broken and finally after three years of using it, things like accelerator and fuel indicator stopped working so on.,

I think overall, the design of the vehicle is very poor and mahindra needs to take care in making new models from here on.

No more time to buy this amazing bike... It has nice riding experience. ... Nice looks and good performance.... Give more comfortable to the passengers... Only problem is the maintenance work is more... Services is good.. My bike is 6 yrs old.... I own mahindra duro 125 cc and i a’m satisfied with it. The best this is the handling which is because of it’s sitting position. Also the boot space is good. I a’m able to get around 35 to 40 km/pl of mileage even though i live in a small town with a very low traffic. So, the mileage is disappointing. But it’s acceleration is very good and i was able to achieve a top speed of 90 km/h.
