Yo Drift Summary
Yo Drift is an electric scooter available in only 1 variant and 5 colours. Yo Drift comes up with front disc and rear drum brakes.
The Drift is a low-speed electric scooter from the Indian EV brand, Yo Bikes. With a price tag of Rs 51,000, it is amongst affordable electric scooters meant for short-distance commutes.
The Yo Drift is available in two battery options including lead-acid and lithium-ion. The lead-acid variant takes around 7-8 hours to get fully charged while the lithium-ion version charges much quicker in around 3-4 hours. Both the variants are claimed to deliver a range of up to 60km. Both variants are propelled by a brushless DC motor that maxes out at 25kmph, which makes it suitable only for short distance runs.
It is based on a steel tube frame that’s suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. The stopping power comes from a 180mm disc up front and a 110 drum at the rear. As for the features, the Yo Drift comes equipped with an LED headlamp and position lamp along with a digital console. Other features include a three-in-one lock system, keyless start, reverse mode, and a mobile charging socket.
The Yo Drift is available in four colour schemes including black, grey, blue, green, and red. It competes against the likes of the Hero Electric Optima and the BGauss A2.

Buying experience is ok. Riding experience is ok. Details about looks, and performance are ok. Servicing and maintenance are good. Speed is ok for within-city rides. The level of speed is good in driving controlling. 3-year warranty in Motor and battery and 1 year on full Scooter.

Worst decision ever

Used it for more than a month and I am already regretting my decision of buying this crap. The build quality is like that of a toy car that kids drive. Even the emblem on the sides are of very cheap quality. breaks are very bad. Suspension is worse than a cycle with no suspension. Don't buy it .

Please don't buy Yo Drift product.

I am riding this scooter for the last 8 months, my experience is very bad with this scooter, very poor build quality and showing always problems in 10 -15 days. I will not suggest it if anyone is planning to buy it. Please don't buy this product. It's like a toy.And the dealership is not even providing any kind of service.

First ev in market but last in ev race

My buying experience was good dealer explains everything polite easy available colours are there.But my riding experience is quite not good, because it's too much slow in speed and built quality so bad whit in a month range, goes down as the company commits long charging time and parts are not available on time I have to wait for parts a month.

Good but not the best

Hey , i am sujan roy from coochbehar .I have bought yo drift dx nine months ago (August ,2021) when I make a decision to buy a bike or scooty , at that time I feel that the petrol price is hiking and it crosses the century, then I bought this. This electric scooty's looks is good, performance is average, top speed 38 km , range 50-55 km/full charge but main negative thing is its built quality. Very low-quality plastic has used in this scooty, suspension damaged after little heavy load, charging time taken more than expected after day by day (7hrs -9hrs) , service center executives are good, any way you can buy it but need to look all this. Thanks.

Everything ,every brand every product of electrotherm is bad don't waste your money. Dealer only provide service just for formality and they don't respond on time . Suspension leakage when you just buy new one and weak quantity of plastic , cheap converter with poor performance and very weak motor i bought it in charge of 60000 but it's quality is under 30000. Moreover, electrotherm company is cheating with poor people. Don't believe on this company at any cost, otherwise you will cry ,thanks !
