1. Buying Experience :
- Good.
2. Riding Experience :
- Very Good.
- Smooth engine. Can take high RPMs. I like to test this bike's engine's resilience. E.g. I sometiem hold at 45 Km/hr at 2nd gear! It does vibrate, but I love the vibration. So smooth. Also can give 35-40 km/l mileage at this.
- At 3rd gear, 60 is the sweet spot. (great mileage)
- Long gearing makes the bike want to hold revs
- Front brakes are much better than rear (As you expect)
The clutch is light. You'll have less hassle while navigating through traffic in comparison with heavy clutch bikes (RE, Yezdi)
- The brakes wear out every 5000-7000 km, depending on how harsh you ride the bike. The brakes are good but don't last long.
The horn is good. Dual horn. (DLX Pro/DLX Pro Chrome)
The headlight is very poor.
3. Details about looks, performance etc :
- Looks are amazing.
- Keep your bikes clean and you'll get rewarded. Often times strangers ask me about my bike. I'm sure they wouldn't have if I didn't keep my bike clean. The chrome on the bike motivates you to keep it clean. Please do so.
- Can easily hold 70-75 Km/Hr at 3rd gear. So you can imagine the engine's capabilities. Forget about 4th. Most of the time I don't have to use the 4th.
- Power Gear: 3rd, 4th
- Cruising Gear: 3rd, 4th, 5th (Depends on how you ride the bike)
- The 2nd gear can touch 65-70 if you rev hard. The engine can take it. But my advice is that you treat the bike with respect and love. Don't abuse it. Sometimes you can enjoy the power.
- This bike is made for cruising road presence. Imagine a chrome beast cruising at 80-90 km/hr, being ridden by a good driver, who's wearing all riding gears and seems to enjoy cruising. Don't abuse this bike. This bike was made to be ridden with class and respect.
4. Servicing and maintenance :
- Servicing cost is slightly on the higher side. Free services cost me around ₹2000-2200. I haven't done any paid service yet.
- Just keep the chain cleaned, and lubed.
- Keep the bike clean (use microfiber cloth)
5. Pros and Cons :
- Good performance
- Good reliability
- Average servicing experience
- Poor headlight
- Good build quality
The fit and finish is also good.
- Brakes don't last that long, but they are good.
- Battery troubles have plagued many riders. Change the battery (get an Excide Z7 battery, 18 months after you have bought it. I didn't have to until now, but you might need to)
- Get the front mudguard accessory
The rear wheel digs up a lot of mud in the rainy season. Cleaning the bike yourself is a challenge. Because it frequently gets dirty. There is no mud flap for the rear tire, so the mud keeps accumulating in the middle of the bike. Ride and you'll see. Just go to a good bike wash.
Overall, this bike is highly recommended. Best in class in comparison with other manufacturers.

Tips for Honda Hness CB350

Keep the chain lubed and clean, every 3 months. DIY if you have to. You must get an aux light for night rides. Get a good aftermarket crashguard. Honda crashguard will give you a little better mileage, but it doesn't feel totally safe. Get a handlebar raiser (Carbon racing). All this addition will make your bike complete!

Received quite a royal treatment at the Big Wing store. Have been using it for my daily commute since March 15. No issues so far. Butter smooth handling in tier 2 traffic conditions also. The first service was done and now the mileage has been improving gradually. The best thing I like is that you don’t feel any engine lag or imbalances due to the heaviness of the bike.

  • Poor sales and After sales

Purchased honda highness DLX PRO CB 350 on September 19, 2023 from Honda Big Wing Worli. I have suffered immensely due to pathetic service and request you to kindly resolve all the pending issues on a priority. Following are the issues of during the sale/after the sale process:
    (i) The Bike was booked on September 10, 2023. The on-road cost of the bike was reflected as ₹240682. I have received the invoice as follows against a payment of ₹240682.
    a. Payment to Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Department: ₹3066
    b. Insurance Premium ₹ 15045( Debit Note for 15,130)
c: Tax Invoice including GST: ₹214856
    d. RTO Registration Charges-₹6797
Total of the invoice value from a to d is ₹239764
Complaint 1: Kindly resolve the difference between ₹240682 and ₹ 239764
(ii) The Insurance policy issued at the time of the bike purchase was made invalid by ICICI Lombard due to the non-realisation of the premium. They have reissued me a policy on December 11, 2023 showing the vehicle registration date as December 11, 2023. The premium charged is ₹14782.
Complaint 2: My bike was non-insured from September 19, 2023 to December 11, 2023. Also, no refund is made to me on the excess premium payment taken. I request ₹50,000 in compensation damages for deficiency in service of not insuring the vehicle. Due to your deficiency in service, my insurance policy has factual inaccuracies that vehicle registration date is December 11, 2023 which makes the new policy also invalid.
(iii) The sticker of the bike was damaged at the time of delivery. I had regularly been in touch with the delivery guy who assured me that the sticker would be replaced within weeks. After multiple follow-ups, the delivery agent confirmed on January 7, 2024 that the sticker has arrived. On talking to their Service representative, I learnt that sticker replacement will require the paint of the tank also to be repainted.
Complaint 3: I want the sticker repaired with the original paint or the complete tank to be replaced with original paint.
(iv) The horn of the bike is not working properly from day 1 of purchase. I had raised the issue with the service representative on first service in October. The issue persists till date. While service representative has advised me to bring back again to the showroom, I don't have time to visit the showroom again and again. The most callous behaviour was when at the time of return of vehicle horn issue was persisting, the service guy just pressed the clip with his hands and told everything is fine.
Complaint 4: Kindly arrange bike pickup and drop from my home and replace horn along with horn clips so that horn issues never arise in future.
    (v) The self-start of the bike does not work at the first instance and I need to switch on/of the engine button nearly 10% of the time.
(vi) I approached the service representative for a replacement of the side mirror on Feb 15. The service representative has informed me that it will come next week. Next week on approaching the service representative, I was told it will take one more week. I am yet to receive any communication from the service representative.
Complaint 6: If the company cannot arrange basic bike parts, the sale of bike may be immediately stopped.

I have been riding a bike for more than a year now. Between Royal Enfield and Hness, i preferred Hness. Riding-wise, at the time of buying, I took a trial and it was good. I also saw too much royal enfield so wanted some unique and also everything felt good hence purchased this. Maintenance is not much required, might be required after 3 yr normal bike maintenance as we do.

Buying experience was smooth, everything was taken care by showroom, i have used many 350-400cc motorcycles and i can say honda hness cb350 is a very good bike , the maintenance cost is fair as its a 350cc bike . Pros is the motorcycle riding experience , its very smooth and after sales service by showroom is excellent & i dont have any cons in my list, as i had purchased the motorcycle after getting fully satisfied with the bike riding experience

Let's start with a few positives.
It gives awesome performance compared to any other bikes in this price & CC segment. Above average mileage of 35-40 and a bass-y exhaust. Looks are another thing to talk about and reliability is Honda's expertise. Quite lightweight and easy to manoeuvre for city rides and comfortable for long tours. No vibrations at high speed at all and packed with features with Bluetooth connectivity.
Servicing costs a decent amount and not many Bigwing showrooms and service centres around. Little bit disappointed in the suspension and the long gearing ratio is frustrating at times.

    Pros:
Mileage: Your Honda CB350 provides a mileage of approximately 35 kilometers per liter, which is commendable.
Vibration-Free Riding: The bike offers a smooth and vibration-free riding experience at speeds below 120 kmph, enhancing comfort.
Smooth Riding: Overall, the riding experience on your CB350 is smooth, contributing to a pleasant journey.
Tall Gear Shifting: The gear shifting mechanism on your bike is tall, which may offer precise and comfortable gear changes.
Reliability: After owning the motorcycle for three years, you haven't encountered any significant errors or malfunctions, highlighting its reliability.
    Cons:
High Service Cost: The cost of servicing your Honda CB350 is relatively high, which may impact maintenance expenses.
Fast Depletion of Disk Pads: The disk pads on your bike wear out quickly, potentially leading to frequent replacements and increased maintenance costs.
Limited Service Centers: The availability of service centres for the CB350 is limited, which could pose challenges for maintenance and support.
Shock Absorber Performance: The rear shock absorber could be improved with a gas-charged shocker, suggesting that the current setup might not offer optimal suspension performance.
Chain Sprocket Wear: The chain sprocket wears out relatively quickly, as it needed replacement at 16,000 kilometers.
Handle Wobbling Issue: Some riders have experienced front handle wobbling issues, indicating a potential concern with the bike's stability or steering mechanism.
Overall, while the Honda CB350 offers several positive attributes such as mileage, smooth riding experience, and reliability, there are also areas for improvement, particularly regarding maintenance costs, component durability, and service availability. It's essential to consider these factors when evaluating the overall ownership experience of the motorcycle.

  • Poor sales and After sales

    Ashish Gupta

  • Good bike
