I just bought the bike a week ago. Since then am riding this bike for every purposeI will give 4.5 out of 5 rating to the looks and 9 out of 10 to the performancePeople do ask me for the pricing of bike. This machine seeks public attentionThus this bike is a low maintenance bike.Pros :- 1. Braking2. Mileage3. Budget friendly4. Power is good5. Instrument clusters are easy to use6. Sound of the machine7. Seat height is good enough for 5.6" peopleAnd many more etc.Cons :- 1. Company should given 6th gear 2. Performance is on the Top3. Headlight is not that much powerfulThat's my point of viewBeginners should go for the xpulse 200 4v

Very bad experience to buy this bike bcoz there is no good response from all staff of hero moto corp. Customer care service, and dealership services are very very poor. They only sell bikes after that If you face any problem with the bike no one will help you. Customer care never knows where is dealership is and who official of hero moto is working in that district from hero moto.So I really disappointed with the service of the total hero moto corp. Don't buy it bcoz it works like govt. Sector.

Although the hero customer sales executive don't know about this machine I did my research before buying this so I did know pretty much about the bike but people at the hero were quite supportive and curious to know about this machine from me ha ha, the overall buying experience was nice they do adjust some bit here and there to sale this bike with maximum customer satisfaction. I got the colour I wanted and got the same-day delivery as well. I have been riding motorbikes for the last 5-6 years and I do get some skills so the riding experience on this machine was super nice, got agronomics, upright seating position and light weight help the rider to ride this bike with more confidence and comfort, this bike performs really well in all kind of roads and high altitude but it mostly meant to be ridden along with pillion this bike loose bit of its power and character. It's a 200cc bike but it can't cope with its segment bikes as the engine is designed to generate lower-end power so the high speed is not that smooth but one can easily cruise this at 90-95 kmph with ease and comfort while getting good mileage. Also, it's meant to do off-road and long touring but when it comes to cornering this doesn't suit that because of these agronomic and off-road tyres bike loses its grip from the road. The bike does get the fabulous look, it's really fresh for the roads I really mean it, whenever I stop at any traffic light the other person next to me surely gonna give me a compliment or ask me which bike is this, is it customised or company made. The maintenance is cheap once can really use that money to go for long rids and get some modifications to make it a better machine but like it, a hero bike but the engine oil I quite on the expensive side also its a new machine for the service guys at hero so you need to be present there to see that everything happens in the right way also many parts are not available in service centre too. Pros:- Ready to go bike for anything1. Vfm2. Fresh looks & appealing design 3. Comfortable agronomics and suspension for any kind of road. 4. Cheap to maintain and higher mileage 5. Best machine to own for regular commute and occasionally touring. Cons:- hero tag (need to make customer service better)1. Some parts feel the cheap quality2. Spokes wheel that gonna take a lot of effort for puncture repaired3. Tall height might be a problem for some people4. Pillion seat not comfortable5. Parts availability issue.

If you are 6 feet tall and you don't have proper off-road handling skills, please don't use it for a normal commute also. Because you will fail to keep it straight. Once you have the skill this setup is the best on the market. The comfort level is too high.

I'm a true lover of adv and adventure tourer bikes all time. One of my friends brought a xpulse 2v last year, I took some rides on it and I really got impressed with the way it looks, its refinement, ergonomics etc...But I was a little upset with its 2v engine because its performance was not that much great when compared with other 200cc engines. Then hero introduced xpulse 200 4v, I took a test drive on it too....Surprisingly the 4v engine was a lot more fun to drive, still, its engine can't compare with other 200cc but it gives absolute fun to drive like experience for us, it's a great offroader machine ( jr triumph tiger ).Xpulse 200 4v is the most affordable in the market and segment too. With a pocket-friendly servicing and maintenance cost + better fuel consumption (40+kmpl)Sometimes I think that may xpulse 4v could be a 250cc or higher (mainly when cruising on highways)And the headlight.... Hero claims that there is a 21percentage better illumination on the new 4v, unfortunately, the headlight still needs a lot of improvement and could give led turn indicators too.Take test drives before whatever motorcycle you are buying.

I bought this bike on 23rd March. I sold classic 350 and bought this machine. I liked each and everything about the bike except the headlight. Headlight illumination is not good. You barely see anything on the road. Apart from this as of now everything seems to be perfect. Power and ergonomics are fine for rider. Not so good for pillion for long rides.

Someone who's totally into sports tourers and power cruisers has chosen an off-roader to be his ride mate. I just got my xpulse 200 4v registered and delivered to me on my my birthday. I badly wanted this birthday to be damn special.Just like any common enthusiast I totally spent hours on youtube and forums like bikewale to see if xpulse would make me regret and all the doubts got kicked on its bottom when I twisted the throttle today. The initial pull is impressive! I got admit that, I have ridden my fazer 2012 - midnight special for about 15,000 kms and was looking for an upgrade over 250cc. I happened to choose the xpulse totally because of its practicality and price point. I didn't get disappointed with my first rev on this bike, brakes are adequate, power bank is enough for the city and occasional tours. I got say it out loud, everyone of us enter the bike hunt with things in mind like we're gonna hit ladakh in a week and race the laguna seca/ nürburgring in the next. But 99.9% of us ride the city and roads filled with gutters. For that I consider hero xpulse 200 4v to be a gem, although the seats are on the shorter side, it may take a toll on your rear if you're full figured like I am. The lights are claimed to be puny and useless, but surprisingly it is wonderful and more than adequate to me in the streets with no lights. The heat from the engine is there in a considerable amount, but yeah, the first service will make it manageable. The ride posture is very commanding and upright that you feel like a boss while riding it, the stance alone will steal a lotta glance from the people. I personally loved the aggressive updation on the stickers they've done with the 4v. Mine is a raid red and my baby cousin loves it.So, if you're in a budget, looking for a motorcycle that can go anywhere; if you wanna get a one that won't burn a hole in your pocket ; if you wanna make the heads turn, go for the xpulse 200 4v, i just rode 45 kms inside the city and the streets with a pillion and we both are going to sleep peacefully with nothing but the bare minimum of the body soreness that's gifted by the pollution and traffic.Lemme list out the pros and cons quickly so that, the someone who always want to cut to the chase can be helped with my review.Pros:1. The posture.2. Adequate power.3. Mileage.4. Looks.5. Maintenance cost.6. Vocal for the local 7. Exhaust note (the screeching noise is loveable, mimics the latest duke 250 somewhere by a bit, but it's totally my personal opinion)8. Side stand engine cut off option (my friend's brand new apache 200 4v, just tell and broke its tank fairing - it showed neutral but when my niece pressed on the self start button, it moved and voila, bonk!!!)Let's get into the cons right away and please note that there's absolutely zero bias and no 'cutting some slack's' gonna happen here Cons:1. Gear position indicator (it irritates the living devil out of me)2. Seats (could have been better.3. Navigation is sloppy sometimes, as if it was my phone with bad network that caused it, but yeah again, it is not so great.4. Horn. (sounds sharp and sufficient but not upto my likeness. I'm a lover of the dual horn setups of pulsars, apaches and r15s. My fazer's horn is the same as the r15s and it is really good)And that is it guys, a review of my brand new hero xpulse 200 4v for your reference and i have totally answered my own questions up there as I have just got my bike, hence it is tested, experienced and written down neatly for all. For all's notice, I named my xpulse as x23. and it is the best ever gift I have gifted myself so far. 3 years ago, it was my used fazer - midnight special that still stands next to x23.
We will try to live with it as the motorcycle has entered the BikeWale garage as a long-term vehicle. It is here to stay for three months and during this period, we plan to test it in the city and take it out touring.
With off-road-centric components like large spoke wheels and long-travel suspension, it was bound to feel at home in our tests. And, the improvement in performance due to the four-valve hear was just a cherry on top.
This new variant of the XPulse range, which is currently sold alongside the standard XPulse 200, features a four-valve setup instead of the two-valve unit on the original iteration of the motorcycle. How well does the Hero XPulse 200 4V work? We rode the motorcycle in and...
