I loved this bike. It is best for adventures & long tours, and one of the best bikes for touring I used. Xpulse is the best budget-friendly Adv bike. Its power is crazy for that segment. The Xpulse is the bike I want to buy now. But if the rider is around 5ft10" in height then only the rider will get a better experience.

Off-road hero in budget

Last time I had a very bad experience with the Bajaj pulsar rs 200 on Kathmandu trip. I almost crushed the bike from the lower side and then I came to know the difference between a racing bike and an adventure riding bike. My friend has a RE Himalayan but he suggested hero xpulse for myself. I drove Himalayan many times and got satisfied with the performance but never tried the xpulse ever, that's why I was a little bit confused. Finally, after so many test drives I bought a hero xpulse 200 4v.The design looks stylish and born for off-road. It's not a cruiser either but if you are not a speedster you won't regret it. It feels very smooth at the speed of 90 kmph on highways. Suspensions, seat and sitting position are comfortable. Brakes do fine. Compared with re Himalayan it has 20 percent lesser power and 45 percent lesser torque but power to weight ratios of both the bikes reach closer due to 20 percent lesser weight of xpulse. In real life when i go off road don't feel much difference between the two. 10 kmpl of extra mileage and 1 lac lesser price of hero xpulse 200 4v seems to be economic and budget-friendly.Pros.1- it is sturdier than other motorbikes of this price range.2- it feels powerful and torque is enough for mountainous or rocky terrains.3- upward exhaust is capable of going underwater deeper than re himalayan.4- fully digital meter with navigation and charging point.5- light weight of the bike provides a better and more effortless handling.6- one of the cheapest adventure riding motorbikes.7- spares and servicing costs are also cheaper than re.8- availability of spares and services is not a problem.Cons.1- top speed is not as good as re himalayan.2- it's felt lack of torque at low rpm.3- compared with re himalayan the handle bar is not so comfortable for riding the bike in a standing position.

**note: don’t buy this motorcycle thinking that it would accelerate like a ktm, apache or pulsar in the same segment. The xpulse is meant to chew broken roads and trails rather than the tarmac.Whether the hero xpulse 200 is worth buying or not depends on your personal needs, preferences, and budget. The xpulse 200 is a touring-focused variant of the xpulse 200, it's well-suited for long-distance rides and weekend trips. It comes with a comfortable seat, a windscreen, and alloy wheels, which make it more comfortable for the rider during long rides. It's also equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster and a mobile charging port, which are useful features for long rides. The xpulse 200 is also powered by the same 199.6 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 18.1 ps of power and 17.1 nm of torque as the xpulse 200. It also comes with a 5-speed gearbox and has good fuel efficiency. Is the hero xpulse 200t worth buying? For more than a month I am doing analysis of xpulse 200t features and expert reviews. Spoke with users to get their opinion and reviews. Recently I took test rides for hero xpulse 200t. I really liked it. Sharing my thoughts here.Let's check the technical details and positive points:Pros:1. 18 bhp engine.2. Latest features in digital instrument console like 2 trimester, gps Bluetooth connectivity, side stand indicator, fuel indicator etc.3. Tubeless tyres. 130/70 wide rear tyre.4. Led headlamp and taillamp.5. 35-42 kmpl mileage7. Retro classic design with comfortable seating posture for commute and long rides, good ground clearance, and wide handlebar.8. Metal fuel tank, no fibre fairings on tanks.Cons:Compared to other 200 cc bikes, the power is a bit low. But with this pricing I would compare it with 160 cc bikes like honda hornet, fzs v3, apache 160 4v etc (13-16 bhp engines), here xpulse 200t definitely stands above.I really don't like sporty and aggressive sitting on almost all other bikes in the same segment (160-200cc).For one who required a bike for commuting and occasionally long rides, it is definitely a good option.
