Buying experience - i bought this bike before bs4 rule so on road price was 85k in nagpur. Now after bs4 engines and gst prices have changed. It was very easy to buy this bike as it was easily available in all stores of bajaj in all color variant.

Riding experience - till the time of writing this review i have ridden 9k km on this bike. The best thing about this bike is its comfort level while riding. As bajaj say "feel like god" the same you will feel while riding it because of it's perfect handle and seat position. Because of it's good handle bar position and brakes and gear position it is very easy and comfortable to ride this bike.

Looks - look wise this is the most unique bike in this range as it is the only cruiser looking bike in this range. Look could have been more attractive if headlights were little bigger.

Performance - i am getting mileage of more than 45 km/l in this which is overall good. This bike easily touches speed of 90 then after that if the road is clear then you may touch top speed of 110 but even at that speed the vibration was not that much.

Issue - the only issue which i find in avenger is the brakes which are bit slow when applied. Back tyre breaks are not so good as they are not disc brake. Also at high speed you will feel lot of air as bike is not having wind shield and it's front is very open make it difficult to drive at high speed.

Servicing - bajaj gives 3 free servicing for this bike. Till now no major issues came in bike.

Pros - easy in riding and comfortable in long rides.

Cons - lack of aerodynamic structure make it difficult to ride on top speed but that is not a demerit because we don't ride at such high speed generally.

Tips for Bajaj Avenger Street 150 [2018]

Try to get tubeless tyres as it is not so easy to pull these bikes when punctured.

It was very nice one I am using this bike for 5 years and still using i got 55 to 60km /ltr. Low maintenance cost now its 47000 km. I changed the chain socket in 32000 km and once I changed the rare brake shoe only front I never changed yet still both brakes work good. ...

Suspension both working good . 2 times I am change the sparking plug. Now head light have little bit low power because of losing chromium plating of headlight doom. I change the seat because rare seat is too smaller overall very good one for long and short rides.

1. I used to own pulsar 150 before this (5 years) i always wanted to buy a cruise bike but couldn't afford it, and when avenger street came, i bought it that month itself. Classy and sexy look with good maintenance cost.2. Unlike other bikes, i personally find it perfect even for long ride. There in no tension on the wrist,and back.3. Look wise i would say its just too eye catching. I personally like the styling of the bike, the side profile of the bike looks just too stunning.4. I don't know about other place but so far so good for servicing, its just that some mechanic at the service center are not trained well, sometimes they can't even detect small wiring problems. After buying for about a year it didn't gave me any problems at all except the battery which went bad in 3-4 months, i had to push and start before getting new battery other than that no major changes except engine oil and brake.5. I would say this bike is affordable with low cost maintenance, unlike those other cruiser bike it won't make a hole in our pocket, the styling is good, comfortable riding, good mileage. Cons: i would say the battery which went bad just about 3-4 months, i don't know how or why. And the chain sprocket needs to be taken care of frequently or else it makes noise easily,but that's not big issue for we can do ourselves at home.

Its like hammering a rock with your leg.Suspension is like a rock. You feel the rocks. Seat is not meant for riding more than 20 minutes. It become very hard and uncomfortable to sit. No pick up at all. Not even like a 125 cc bike.If there was no law in the country, i would have burned all bajaj service centre with service people locked inside. They are not mechanics but they are deaf dhobis. They just wash your bike with detergent and never listen to anything you say.

The only problem is the size of the back seat it is not comfortable for 2nd person, but for the rider it awesome. Now i guess this model has been discontinued by the company, and they have launched a new version that too looks nice.

Well, i always wished to have a cruiser bike with likes of harley but with avenger it became possible. As it is a pocket friendly low budget priced cruiser bike. It's a gem in its own. Looks, styling, comfort, road appearance everything is excellent. Mileage is impressive and maintenance is quite low. I have driven >12000 km and its one and half years old but still feels like i have purchased it today. Never expected such a quality product from bajaj and its fulfills dream of having affordable cruiser bike for youths.

The bajaj avenger had undergone some engine changes in the past, but now they’ve revamped their range. Meet the cruise 220, the street 220 and the street 150. But since the street 220 and the cruise 220 are mechanically the same we’ll skip the street 220 for now and go for a spin on the cruise 220 and the street 150.
