Very smooth, comfortable yet powerful bike. Just got it a week ago and I really liked it. I am 6 feet tall and I guess it would be comfortable for people of any height. The exhaust sound is really impressive too. People are noticing my bike on roads and the looks of this bike are really cool. I am told that its mileage is also really good for a 250 cc bike. I can confirm that after a couple of months of usage.

First of all my buying experience was very good I boked my bike and I got it within a week. I had not even taken a test ride of the bike. When I went to take delivery it was a very good experience. My first experience of riding this machine was very good the power and torque distribution are very well managed. It gives a raw feeling after riding this bike. I was impressed with the looks of this bike the muscular tank design and the robot-faced headlight. Performance is very good. The best torque of 20nm and power of 20bhp gives the best feeling for riding this machine in cities and highways. It manages mileage of 30-35 in the city & 40 on the highway. It gives a better riding range with the massive 14ltr tank. Servicing cost is higher. I bought my bike in 2018 and I have done 5-6 services till now. Pros-1 torque and power distribution2 riding posture3 brakes4 handlingCons-1 better headlight performance2 5th gear is missing3 poor headlight visibility4 needs better mileage

I've been riding this bike since the 1st of January 2021 and till now I've ridden more than 50000km. Although the bike looks like an aggressive street, it's quite comfortable in almost all kinds of situations. Be there the usual traffic, highways, rough roads filled with potholes, or even the sharp corners. The bike is easy to maneuver and that gives the rider a big boost in riding confidently. The engine is quite refined(as expected) and doesn't ride like it's only focused on speeding like some bikes that won't move until it's over 4000rpm(if you know what I mean). The bike will try to assist the rider as much as it can in every gear to make it a comfortable ride. Fun machine. But don't mistake it for a slow 250cc. It can overtake almost every bike of its own segment of naked 250 almost in an instant because of its low and mid-range power. That also helps the bike in traffic and corners or riding in hills. Basically, it's a very well-balanced 250cc that can also be great for beginner riders. Now the cons.. of course, there will be some. The bike has a 5-speed gearbox. Which is good for city rides and provides mileage because of it, but on straight highways, you're going to miss the sixth gear. Although I've reached the top speed of 147kmph on my bike very recently so maybe there is a possibility it can go to 150kmph. The second con is the smoothness of the gearbox. Not as smooth as someone would expect it to be, you know having the reputation of being a yamaha. Sometimes it gets beyond hard. The third is the instrument cluster.. it doesn't have a gear indicator and the instrument cluster is the same old traditional fz25 cluster.. although it doesn't bother the experienced rider, if Yamaha is going to focus on pointing the beginner riders to this bike, I think they should bring some mandatory upgrades on the instrument cluster. The bike should look good from the Rider's eyes too. There are also some other little cons but those will vary depending on the Rider. My personal Overall experience of the bike is 8 out of 10.

The Yamaha fz25 is a really competitive bike at 250cc as Yamaha provides power to weight ratio which is the best in the class segment, full of torque and lightweight which makes the bike full of fun on city traffic roads and the best in class gear ratio for highway and long tours. Major competitors ns200, rs, duke, etc in 200-250cc. If I would ever have a chance to buy a bike, firstly I will never go on paper numbers because every bike is made differently, but in real life, only the Yamaha fz25 will fulfill every gap which you want in your bike which also including stunt riding which I personally want to do with this bike because of it's durability, power with adjustable suspension and best street fighter as it is known as the lord of the streets. I won't go for the pulsar ns200, duke 200 because their 4stroke 4valve is not sufficient whereas else Yamaha fz25 4stroke 2valve is much better which most people can't see in papers. So Yamaha fz25 will be a really intelligent decision to go for. Before writing this review I searched a lot about 200-250cc segment bikes n only the Yamaha fz25 fulfilled my expectations. It's my dream bike Yamaha fz25 monster edition it will make my day every day.

Plus the seating position is proper for both city and highway usage. It's been 6000kms and I have no regrets so far.The mileage is really awesome compared with other 250cc bikes. The riding position is very comfortable and handling is easy.Just now returned home after a short drive in my batmobile and was astonished to see the mileage.
I have done 16k in my odometer in the last two years. I have done 600kms in a single day, it was my longest trip, and other many 400kms trips up and down. my fzs25 never gave any problem. Mileage is also not bad around 35 to 40 p/l. Only the battery changed recently. Vi...

The FZ-S 25 is Yamaha India’s take on the world of entry-level quarter-litre motorcycles. The BS4 variant was known for its no non-sense design and performance approach. These aspects along with good comfort level and decent pricing made it a great choice for buyers who...
11 months and 7000kms later, it’s time to bid adieu to one of the most favourite long-terms I ever had, the Yamaha FZ 25. The last one year has been great fun with this quarter-litre Yamaha. We did a 3500kms long-distance ride down south, spent a full gruelling day at the...
In the last few reports, we talked about the experience in city and in touring with the FZ25. In both conditions, the FZ25 performed well and managed to impress us in a few aspects. We decided to take it to the track to check out its racing pedigree because it’s a Yamaha...
