4Few words about my bike apache rtr 180 3 years ago by Navdeep Jain
I bought my apache on 1st jan,2017 for almost 90k. Originally it was a gift from my father. Before this i had a pulsar 180, so i am very much familiar with 180cc bike regarding it's pickup, fuel efficiency etc. The sales agency was very friendly so the buying experience...
I bought my apache on 1st jan,2017 for almost 90k. Originally it was a gift from my father. Before this i had a pulsar 180, so i am very much familiar with 180cc bike regarding it's pickup, fuel efficiency etc. The sales agency was very friendly so the buying experience was almost as perfect as it can be and they completed all their formalities. They gave various incentives also like 5 free services and a 5 year extended warranty on the bike engine. The riding experience of my bike is as smooth as it could be. The most attractive point which i found in the bike was it's aerodynamics, the maneuverability is awesome with which you can make some awesome cuts (overtaking a vehicle). The fuel efficiency should not be major consideration if you want to purchase this bike as the mileage given by the bike was between 35-40 kmph. You can only expect this for an almost racing bike. There only some cosmetic changes that were missing in the bike (as i said i had a pulsar) that were the backlit buttons and auto-off indicators. Apart from these the bike has an awesome look and feel to it. The performance of the bike is as promised by tvs. Now coming to service and maintenance; the cost for maintaining the bike is pretty nominal. The bike needs to be serviced after approximately 1.5-2 months. The service cost was roughly rs. 700-900 which included the tvs motors mobil oil, which any opinion is best oil for the bike and other things included in this are oil filter, chain oil, brake oil and labour (after free services). Summing up the above info i get to following pros and cons of the bike:Pros:- 1) aerodynamic design 2) great pickup 3) good fuel efficiency for an almost racing bike. 4) great riding experience 5) affordable cost of maintenance Cons:- 1) no backlit buttons 2) no auto-off turn indicators 3) better mileage in the same price segment.So that's my opinion on the tvs apache rtr 180. I hope it may be helpful for you to decide whether you want to buy the bike or not.

Cons :1.Apache has some slipping issue with front brake
2.In along journey bike produce some vibration to reach at range of 80 kmph
3.If some people having a some back pain and it have some serious issue
it gives less mileage compare to 150 to 200 segment

I am an owner of apache rtr. I bought this bike 11 months ago. Till now my experience for this bike is excellent specially in this budget segment.I bought this bike for 90k on road.This bike is really good choice for daily users.It provides you the smoothest ride with smooth gear shifting.Yes,above 70kmph engine is little vibey but this thing is quite normal with rtr engine so there is no need to worry about vibrations.It has a rally good pickup which is good sign for its usage in heavy traffic. Of-course i am in very initial part in journey with this bike but till now it is giving me the average of 70kmpl on highway.Believe me it has a really good average.One can buy it with real disc also.About its look,it looks resembles muscular guy with sparkling eyes.If you want a bike in this price range apache will be the best choice:)...

Riding experience is awesome with good handling even at the corners, edges performance of bike is also very good having good bhp more than other bikes and displacement is also more than other bikes of same range and the top speed of 125 km per hour service cost is quite costly rather it is best bike in 180 cc and better than most of the 150 cc and 160cc bikes
Performance of bike is very awesome
0-100 km in just 12.7 second
The result at the end it is best bike in under 1 lakh with great performance
some how mileage gets down if u miss its service

Because there is only one competitor of apache rtr 180 that is bajaj pulsar 180 which comparatively not better than apache riding this bike in really awesome it's been 7 months i am riding it apache rtr 180 gives me a millage of 38-43 km in city and my top speed with its is 133 km/hr

I bought this apache 180 v2 the new one 2014. Have rided 40000 kms so far. I cannot fall in love with the bike.. Bike doesn't give good chemistry.. Bad controlling.. But the sound is phenomenal can never hear this sound from any other engine.. It revs urs heart but does...

But the sound is phenomenal can never hear this sound from any other engine.. It revs urs heart but doesn't follow while we ride. Have reached 138 km speed max when bought newly.. Now only 116 km.. Bike shakes too much.. Makes me feel scared even while reaching 90.. Not a good ride in traffic nor highway. Bike doesn't stand out. I m sorry.. Positive is less.. Riding position is not comfortable.. Bike looks sexy when it's parked in side stand.. Overall not a good buy..

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox its pickup is not as good as expected.Fuel economy is average and gearbox is goo.

Ride quality & handling seats are not comfortable to give that good riding position.But when in top gears and in speed then handling is the best.

Final words its over all excellent choice.

Areas of improvement silencer need to be improved and seats to be made like one which gives more sporty position.
