The Triumph Bonneville T100 is a modern classic motorcycle meant to offer a simple yet characterful riding experience. One of the oldest names in the motorcycling world, the Bonneville family has been popular since around 1956. The latest T100 and T120 iterations stay true to the heritage in terms of styling and feel but bring along a touch of modernity on the engine and equipment front.
The Bonneville T100 boasts a quintessential old-school design, which looks simple yet elegant. The round headlamp, dual-pod console, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and the long single-piece seat, all hark back to the Bonnevilles of the bygone era. The spoke wheels and double-sided, peashooter exhausts just add to the retro charm.
Powering the bike is a 900cc, parallel-twin, SOHC motor with a 270-degree crank. This unit comes mated to a five-speed gearbox and produces 64.1bhp and 80Nm of peak torque. Underpinned by a tubular steel, twin cradle frame, the T100 rides on an 18-17-inch spoke wheel combination which is suspended by telescopic forks up front and dual springs at the rear. Braking is handled by a 310mm disc and a 255mm rotor at the front and rear, respectively. With a kerb weight of 228kg, it boasts a fuel tank of 14.5 litres.
