Worse bike ever bs6

1 week ago by Suresh Kandregula 885 views

Please, guys, stay away from this bs6 version I don’t know about the previous version but this bs6 engine is over-heating my right leg roasting with heat and when your engine got high heat the engine turns off while you close the clutch so now I am regretting don’t know about this before If I would have known about the heat I wouldn’t buy this bike, I would have buy yezdi or any other same segment.

Proud to be an owner, excellent for riding, excellent for uphill, muddy areas and cornering is better much better compared to other RE machines. Obviously sometimes maintenance are costly because this is a mad machine and throttle madly wherever go with this adapt no matter about roads. Quite ridiculous for highways but all over mad for Indians roads. I love my HIMALAYAN.

Royal enfield himalayan is worth buying but there can be some changes in it like including abs and stuff. Comfortable is at the top level and one of the best bikes for a long tour. For more assurance, you just take a test ride first and then plan of buying it but I will definitely approach you to go for it worth every penny. The himalayan is capable to serve your daily routes but it is much more fun to ride in hilly areas or on a long trip. While riding in peak hours dealing with the heavy traffic you might feel the heaviness.

I booked a bike on Dec 31st 2021 and got the bike on April 6th, 2022, I have lake blue himalayan, the buying experience was better but not as good. My 1st ride is with mom, she felt comfortable as a pillion, and till date, I drove 4.5k km. Lake blue color grasps attention in the crowd but maintaining it is a bit difficult so I did ppf on the tank. In city, I am getting 27kmpl and on highways, I am getting 34kmpl.
Performance can be better but at this price range we have other options but still, those who love re will go for this only, on highways I cruise on 100, sometimes 120 as well, and after reaching 100 there is vibration on the handle & near the tank but its manageable. When it comes to service I did my 1st service in chittoor(ap), technicians are pathetic they don't know anything, my himalayan i am unable to disengage abs, I have taken a bike multiple times but no one responded till now so I am planning to do 2nd service in bnglr, maintenance is a bit easy for himalayan, always look after tyre pressure and use chain lube for every 500 km. No need to mention the heating issue in bump-to-bump traffic it's horrible, every time you need to have shoes. The weight of the bike doesn't issue, you just need to get used to it and everyone knows the build quality of re bikes so no need to discuss abt it.
    Pros:
    1. Riding/seat comfort.
    2. Ground clearance.
    3. Off-road capability.
    4. Maneuverability.
    Cons:
    1. Headlights are pathetic, with these lights we can't ride at night.
    2. Of course heating issue.
    3. Tube tires.
    4. Brakes are ok but need a lot of improvement.

Maintaining a speed of 80 kmph does not cause any vibrations. High ground clearance and strong shocks do not bother offroading much. It is a dream bike for bike lovers.

    1. This is my 1st bike and I feel the very proud owner of my royal enfield Himalayan , it was a great experience when I brought this home.
    2. So far I have driven more than 5000 km in 5 months, so people can understand how happy I feel to ride on this beast!! long rides, off-road everything looks so easy and comfortable on this, like never getting tired after riding!!
    3. The looks are top-notch if you ride through the city or outskirts, everyone on the road will turn their heads to take a look over this and ask you about the bike details, performance is also good as of now, like riding this much heavy bike and having a great performance is a great combo.
    4. Service and maintenance are pretty good which I have experienced till now, as you can get all the bike parts easily in the market and if you book an appointment and give the bike at the showroom the price will be normal, not too much like other big bikes, also re has started a new initiative of checking with the customer by contacting them after few days of service that if the bike condition is good or not after the service.
    5. Now about the pros and cons, if you feel to go on tour or normal ride and you want it completely comfortable then I feel this is the perfect bike till date to rides, cons which I have felt till now is the heat which emits while you are riding in the city, that's because it has air cooling system, so it needs space, rest assured apart from that I haven't felt anything bad in this till now, so I feel if you are a new rider or you are fond of travel and touring this is the best you can try in the market with a good decent budget.

After 1 year of ownership - this bike is a pure tourer. Initial torque is it's up. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. 70-90 km/h is the most enjoyable. Lot's of customizable options.
Some cons are, city rides could be a bit miserable - considering it's weight and engine heat. Pillion comfort is not up to the mark.
Built quality is considerably improved now.

Royal Enfield Himalayan with panniers: 2000km Touring Review

I’m going to start this story with a confession. I’m a big fan of the Royal Enfield Himalayan. So much so that, I have made a few of my friends buy it. In fact, I almost bought one too. But decided to wait for something else (more on this later). So yes, the Himalayan is a...
