Should you Really Buy an Ampere Magnus EV?

        Prajwal Dhage

I'm an owner of the Magnus EX EV for 3 years. If you just want to commute to low range places it's the decent scooter but as you commute for long, this scooter has so many problems.
        1. Scooter is not comfortable back pain starts if you have a long journey.
        2. The range depletes with the charge cycle. Earlier my EV used to complete approx 100 kms on a single charge, but now, it just completes 70 to 75 kms.
        3. I personally had problems with this EV. Halt in halfway, and no way to fix it. Even if it had charging, the EV just blanks out in some rare cases.
        4. Service is not good. I've taken my EV to nearly all the service stations in Pune, but never got the expected professional service.
Final verdict: you should only buy this EV, it your daily commute distance is quite low, and you want to save petrol expense.
        Thanks

No tension of making pollution control certificate for it.. price is also affordable. Senior citizens can also use it,it is very safe and nice for them..it's easy to handle and not bulky like petrol scooters. No sound no pollution means good for environment.

        Waste of money, risky vehicle

        Never Buy This Ev Scooty

First of all, switches are not good, needs always need to be replaced, speed is hellish, mudguards are low quality, it takes more than 5 hours to charge, the meter setting is not in order 67% is fully charged, 52% is the discharge point. Waste products. Parts are not easily available. Again, many other small problems are there; again, it is a risky vehicle. The price is also very high.

Range more than 100 when running at 35-40 speed, overall good experience

        Lalit Ahuja

Range exceeds 100 km when running at 35-40 km/h, overall good experience. Service centers are fewer compared to other brands, but when you compare prices, it is a lucrative option. The height of the scooty is good, looks muscular, and overall I am happy with its response so far. It takes around 2 seconds to start moving again once it reaches a speed of zero.

COOL SCOOTER FOR COOL HOME MAKERS

        Nagajothi

        Buying Experience:
Arun Ampere Virudhunagar, given clear explanation about the scooter, requested showroom persons for a fancy number but they couldn't have any buying experience is good.
        Look:
It look like a proper scooter so I like it very much.
        My daily travel:
My daily travel is around 25-30 kms for pick up and dropping of my children to school and other classes.
        Seating comfort:
I will not be able to sit for a long time in saddle which is one of the drawbacks of the bike. Even I sitting 15 min I felt discomfort. I moved myself front and back to find a comfortable position.
        Low Speed/ High speed:
I used the scooter only low speed so the maximum speed is 33kmph as per the speedometer readings. But the husband used by high speed mode which is a maximum 55kmph speed.
        Service:
Service cost is very cheap, I spent only Rs.250-500 not more than that, The service interval is 3 months once.
        Mileage:
Mileage of the scooter for a single full charge - 90km (maximum) for low speed mode, 50km (maximum) for high speed mode.
        Pros and Cons:
        Pros:
        1. The cost of scooter is only Rs. 73000/(2023)
        2. Mileage: Low speed mode - 90, High speed mode - 50 (My town is only 7km in diameter)
        3. Service cost is very cheap Min Rs.250 Maxi-Rs500
        4. Service interval is min 3 months maximum 6 months.
        5. Seat length is good for accommodating 1 adult and 2 children.
        Cons:
        1. Riding comfort is not good (i didnt say bad )
        2. Ride quality is also ok, comparatively I rode Ampere Primus it was good.

        Elegant and Stylish together

        Nabanita Moitra

Maintenance has been affordable with Magnus, and parts are easy to find. A great choice for anyone looking to save on long-term costs. I actually bought this after a friend recommended it. I like that it is hassle-free and simple to use. Plus we save on fuel costs. It is a practical option for city traffic. A bike with no frills.

        Thanks

        Waste of money, risky vehicle

        Never Buy This Ev Scooty

First of all, switches are not good, needs always need to be replaced, speed is hellish, mudguards are low quality, it takes more than 5 hours to charge, the meter setting is not in order 67% is fully charged, 52% is the discharge point. Waste products. Parts are not easily available. Again, many other small problems are there; again, it is a risky vehicle. The price is also very high.

Very bed performance, no service, no responsibility during warranty

        Misha Modi

The charger stopped working during the warranty period. Approached the service centre, even after 1.5 months, I have not received a repaired charger. Replaced with a faulty charger. No support from the company or service station for even a spare charger. They don't understand the needs of the customer. Advice not to take any EV of this company.
