One of which was touring and adventure motorcycling. A new set of audience also wanted to experience the thrill of dirt bike riding, motorcycle camping and adventure touring.

1.  Hero Xpulse 200 : 1,15,300

The Xpulse 200 is the most affordable adventure bike which you can get right now in the Indian market. The design of the bike is lean and it gets graphics across its 13 litre fuel tank. It uses all LED lights to illuminate the road and riding information can be seen on the digital cluster. It gets a single piece seat with rear grab handle and wide handlebars. Furthermore, it gets a raised exhaust and front mudguard. It comes with spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres and disc brakes on both ends. It's powered by a 199.6cc motor, which produces 17.8bhp at 8500rpm and 16.45Nm at 6500rpm. Power is taken to the wheels through a five-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at front and 10-step adjustable mono-shock on the rear. There's only one Standard variant on offer.

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan : Rs 191591-201314

The second in the list is the Royal Enfield Himalayan, which is priced quite attractively among these three. It is offered with multicolour combination. It also gets Himalayan graphics on its side. It uses halogens instead of LED lights. Likewise, it gets a single piece scooped out seat, rear carrier and round mirrors. A raised exhaust and front mudguard can also be seen. Hardware like spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres and disc brakes on both ends can also be observed. Powering the bike is a 411cc engine which churns out 24.3bhp at 6500rpm and 32Nm at 4500rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Ride of the bike is taken care of by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock with linkage on the rear. Right now it has four variants on offer.

3. KTM 250 adventure : Rs 253587

The final in the list is the KTM 250 adventure which is more stylish looking and also more expensive among the other two in the list. It can be seen having tank extensions with graphics on it. Here, the headlight is halogen and the tail-light is an LED. It gets a digital display for riding information. Split seat setup and wide handlebars with hand guards can also be seen. The exhaust on the bike is inclined upwards. It is also equipped with a 19-inch alloy wheel at front and 17-inch on the rear. For effective braking it uses dual channel ABS and disc on both ends. At its heart sits a 248.76cc motor which delivers 29.5bhp at 9000rpm and 24Nm at 7500rpm. It mounts a 43mm USD fork at the front and a mono-shock on the rear. It is only available with a Standard variant.
