Suzuki Motorcycle India registers 72.2 per cent growth in March 2021

- Suzuki sold 69,942 units in March

- Exports contribute to 9,720 units

- Hayabusa to be launched in India this month

Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced a cumulative growth of 72.2 per cent in March 2021 with a sale of 69,942 motorcycles and scooters.

Comparatively, Suzuki managed to sell 40,636 units in the same month last year. Now, out of the March 2021 numbers, the Indian market contributed to 60,222 units; an increase of 77.4 per cent from March 2020. On the other hand, exports increased by 44.9 per cent from 6,706 units in March 2020 to 9,720 units last month.

In other news, Suzuki Motorcycle India is expected to launch the all-new Suzuki Hayabusa in India sometime this month. The heavily updated sports touring motorcycle is likely to be priced around Rs 18-20 lakh, ex-showroom.
